I realize no one has posted anything here for years, but the file to download is broken. It is zero KB in size, which means there is nothing in it. I have seen this in other mods as well, when the mod file itself is empty for some reason.
Would it be possible to put the actual Mighty Enchants file back on Nexus?
are you aware that file sizes under a kilobyte exist? this mod probably just changes a few numbers, so it makes sense why it's so small. i've seen a few other files that the site reports as 0KB, and they all work fine, they're just small.
You are correct in that increasing the value of soul gems does not have an effect on constant enchants (like feather, fortifies, etc.), however increasing the value of soul gems DOES allow you to have more charges on your weapons, which in turn allows you to have more powerful enchants on your weapons.
Also, if you are using a mod that allows multiple enchants on apparel, then you will be able to add more enchants with these soul gems (although each individual enchant will still have the same value as it would with a normal soul gem).
This mod seems useless. Enchanced soul values don't appear to actually effect the value of the enchantments. So making a grand soul 9600 instead of 1600 has no more effect than making it 1,000,000.
I have not yet tried this mod, but like the idea, i was looking for a mod that gives you unlimited enchanting and spellmaking abilities, anyone got any ideas? like i saw a vid on utube where a guy gave a dagger 300 fire damage 300 duration 300 distance and so on with every other type of damage... looking for something like this.
