I've taken a look at the mod in Tes4Edit and, unless I'm mistaken, this changes the journal entry unconditionally. That's unfortunate, because the author has well-written entries but they only make sense if you happen to be Archmage.
EDIT: According to the UESP the Unofficial Oblivion Patch fixes this, so this mod is not needed.
Actually I too would've liked to see a screenshot or a detail of the log entry change myself in the description. One thing I am wondering is if you just changed the original log entry, or if you added a new entry that triggers on the condition that you are also Arch Mage. Obviously, I wouldn't want to see changed journal entries reflecting my being Arch Mage if I'm not.
If it is the latter, then that suggests this is a mod that you would only install should you happen to be Arch Mage at the time of the quest, in which case I would pass. I don't really care for "conditional" mods that I only activate in certain circumstances. It either stays in all the time, or doesn't go in at all.
But there's no way for us to know which it is, because you didn't give many details, and refused to elaborate when asked, resorting instead to rudeness. If the author is too lazy to inform people about his or her own mod, and instead tells us to dissect the mod and figure it out ourselves, I lose all interest in their work.
