This looks intriguing, and definitely has been added to my download list (which is awaiting me figuring out what's wrong with TMM... and some of which is also waiting on a decent internet connection. XD)
As for allowing a player to join that is already in the DB, perhaps the traitor (the maniac fixated with Lachance and tries to kill the Night Mother) approaches the player (requiring a certain fame score?) seeking aid... All sorts of different plots one could work in there... I know nothing script wise I'm afraid, however actual writing is something I consider a forte, and would be happy to lend my assistance as I had time, assuming that a) you'd want it, and b) you're still interested in continuing this.
Wow! This was actually much better than what I expected it was going to be. It was cool that you actually had quest updates with the mod--I was expecting it to just be that the Brotherhood continuously attacked you if you showed up in a city with one of the assassins in it. I was glad to see that there was actually a good, thought-out story to it.
A few minor things in case you ever work on this mod again: You might want to make the Silencers and the like a bit stronger, as the entire city of Cheydinhal started attacking them, and while all of the assassins were killed, not a single citizen died. Just seems like trained assassins should be stronger than your average street urchin.
And what about Sithis himself? Granted, the Night Mother was pretty fantastic--I really wasn't sure how you were going to pull that off--but without destroying the Dread Father himself, everyone knows that the Dark Brotherhood will come back.
Just thoughts I had. Take them with a grain of salt. Overall, I'd say 10/10 because it was obvious that you put a lot of work into it. It was fast-paced and I really enjoyed it.
I know this mod most likely is dead but if there is anyone who may know what to do when you visit the night mother statue cause nothing happens when i visit it at the time required
I have a anomaly i go to sleep get the point where the assassin attacks me when i get out of sleep mode i fall over dead and it sends me to the load screen... i thought the poison was slow reacting... it even kills me through the "tgm" god mode...
lol nice i already killd him but after the poison i kept a constant spree of mayhem to keep me alive XD my bounty and imfamy was extream wen i finished i destroyed anvil and nearly wiped out the imperial city any way gr8 mod manps i started in anvil and worked my way around
in the dark mother ambush part it always ends in a city wide masacre (over half the non essencial npc dead) when guards and npcs massacre themselves. this makes the mages guild quite emty and kills a shopkeeper or two. would it be hard from the point of scripting to evacuate the town just before the battle? also the db assasins turn on themselves if you turn invisible. an idea could be that the db bribed the guards and other people in preparation of the ambush. mabie even took place of the civilians... just a couple ideas. a great mod othervise
Well I'm at the part where you go to Bravil to meet the Nightmother after picking up the dead drop orders. I'm there now at 12:00 AM. Nothing is happening. I have Blood&Mud installed and Open Better Cities, could that cause a problem? Thanks.

Unfortunately, it didn't work, and lachance approached my 13-fame/2 infamy paladin with no murders at level 2 after slaying an arena combatant.
