can't endorse this, the work is a bit patchy and somehow the mod completely wrecked bravil bay for me, all the water is now visibly divided into squares that don;'t reflect light or something, can't quite figure out what's wrong... and why is the bravil wreckage located BENEATH the seabed? it's like you added a second seabed. all the fishes and seamonsters that die just swim up to the original seabed and get stuck.
As others said, and i agree with them, without ANY journal entry you can't possibly know nor the order of what you should do nor if you're done with a certain part. In the vanilla game there are many quests that don't give you a map marker, you could have done the same. For example, i bumped into the pearl and sunken ship when i was looking for Tooth. (lol)
ok, i finished the third quest (sliced up the artist). there is three quests right?
quest is ok. it was rather hard (i did this one with a weaker character), especially the necromancer ambush. it took several restarts and a few dirty tricks to get them. and then a looong underwater melee with the main bastard. the riddle was easy (found 90 gold pieces, gee thanks).
suggestions: 1) rename the ship to "flying kvatchman". as far as i know, no dutchman ever set foot on tamriel. 2) remove the map marker after taking the boat back to leyawin.
all in all, best quest mod there is. 9.5/10 easily. that 0.5 point is because ayantatar quest could get a closure by speaking to the redguard and telling him to check out the view.
i'm about halfway done, but you've got 10 from me so far.
at first i intended to skip this mod since both my characters hate stealing and simply don't do quests that involve crime. i'm glad i decided to follow through.
just got the pearl. it's a good reward - an interesting find and a good sell. i have two complaints about that quest - 1) the inner area (fort) should be renamed (it's not in the ocean); 2) there should be a way to ask the innkeeper to let the player have a look at the songbook.
after getting the pearl (and a short stop at sinderion's cellar to buy a few elixirs), i returned to the anvil quest and managed to figure out the walled door. i abandoned it yesterday (i was stuck after killing the three protectors) but i opened it now. maybe vanilla quests made me dumb? i'll call it a night now, but i look forward to tomorrow.
EDIT: finished the light ruin quest. as good as i expected. that final lightkeeper dude actually killed me once (others didn't even get close). nice job on that. he killed me even though i had cast detect life and scored a sneak-hit with an arrow. the final reward was cool. weather wasn't perfect but i scored a few nice screenshots.
two quests down, you're still at 9.5/10. there should've been a way to talk to the redguard afterwards and tell him what i have seen and also to tell him that the ruin is pacified and that he is free to go and take a look from above.
If you have problem with Tooth not having anything but gp, try moving the esp down the load order. I had the same problem and after i placed it last in the order, i got the list..
Many thanks for this great mod, Martin Lynge! I tried to contact you last year, but you did not answer, so I translated your mod into German under reserve http://www.worldofelderscrolls.de/?go=dlfile&fileid=167 Now I saw your new comment "Modders: Feel free to tweak it, translate it or do whatever you want with it. ...". Thank you again, now I know that I'm legally allowed to do so.
Hey, nice mod, but i have a phobia of fish and other various water creatures. so could someone tell me if there is infact something under the water? thanks
