I'm sorry, but this mod is not "quasi-safe". That is, it's not even safe with popular mods, like CM partners + CM companion wardrobe.

Removing VISIBLE CM-partners things one does not need at a time (via move quest item), will apparently also remove invisible items/questiterms, which are neccessary for CM-partners related mods, to recognize companions. I couldn't even repair this via clean saves. I had to revert to older saves, to repair the damage.

Not recommended by me, unless you're exclusively playing vanilla oblivion. This is may break any mods you may have installed, across savegames... unless you aren't using popular mods and just playing pure vanilla.

    Thank you for this!!!
    i have tried about a million mods to remove those unneeded quest items. i use the german version of oblivion and every other mod changes the names of those items into english. not so bad but i thought this is not right. but this awesome mod doesnt change the language and does not even remove the quest state permanently, so they are still quest items, but not in your inventory.
    Thanks again!!!

    I have the same junk happening as that, but it's from copying my character and looting the corpse, I now have multiple amulet of kings. maybe now I can pass them on to companions or enchant them

    Great mod! Thanks so much! Due to a different mod... I inadvertently ended up with 2 "Amulet of Kings". As a result... Jauffre didn't care who I was or what I had. Quite the game breaking experience... Thanks to your mod, I was able to remove the duplicate and continue with the quest! Much appreciated!

    @Argon26237:

    Yep, you gotta run it each time.

    If you launch oblivion from obmm, then it will automatically launch obse for you.

    Personally, I just replace Oblivion's desktop shortcut with one to launch obse. Just make a shortcut, change it's name to "Oblivion", and then change it's icon to Oblivion's. That way I never have to think about it when I play. However, this does prevent Oblivion's Launcher from running, which is why I never noticed that naming problem till now <img class=">

    Thanks!
    It works just fine now.
    1 question. Do I have to run Oblivion by opening OBSE loader from now on or...?

    @Argon26237:

    How odd. It activates just fine from within OBMM (which is how I activate all of my mods), and plays fine in game. As well, I can load it in the editor with no issues. However, if I try to activate it from Oblivion's Launcher, I get the same error that you do.

    I am looking into what is causing this, but in the meantime you should be able to activate it from obmm. It does work fine ingame, so I am unsure why it is giving this error.

    However, once you do activate it, you will need to install OBSE in order to use this mod. If you don't have OBSE installed, then the Tome will do nothing when you try to activate it.

    Edit: The problem is with the filename "Move Quest Items (OBSE).esp"

    If you take out the parenthesis, then Oblivion's Launcher will be able to load it just fine. The game, and the editor don't care about the parenthesis, but Oblivion's Launcher does for whatever reason.

    I have renamed the file to "MoveQuestItems - OBSE.esp" and re-uploaded the mod. You can either download the mod again, or simply rename your esp to exclude the parenthesis. Other than this rename, nothing has been changed.
