If you want to install this mod with Vortex you'll need to download it manually and extract the files, you can delete the zipped version. Then open it up and make a folder for each type of music there are so a folder for Battle, Dungeon, Explore and Public, you should have 4 folders. Once you've done that you'll want to place the songs in their own folders. Lastly you'll also want to make a Music folder and drag the 4 folders you just created into it.
Now you need to right click the mod and look for "Add to Archive" that's what it is for Winrar anyway, for 7zip users it will probably be something similar. All we're doing is zipping the files back up so we can put it into Vortex. Once you've done that you can drag the mod into Vortex and install it. Now from time to time you should hear the music playing, it won't play 24/7 since these are just additional songs, they don't replace existing ones, if you want to only hear the music from this mod at all times you'll want to delete the original Oblivion music files but If you're going to do that I recommend you back up the music files incase you want them back.
The music in this mod is excellent. After playing with it for a while and forgetting what tracks were modded and what were vanilla, there were honestly some tracks I thought were vanilla tracks and then surprised myself when I checked again and saw they were from this mod.
I'm back on the nexus looking for music to add to Shivering Isles, and I've been playing the game for so long with this mod installed that I completely forgot that the music in the game came from here. Like, I legitimately thought that I hadn't installed any music mods. My brain has kind of exploded right now. Wish I could click the endorse button fifty times!!!!
