Returned after 9y to Oblivion and UL mods. They are still add diversity to Tamriel exteriors. And I still have significant FPS drop (140 -> 100) near Chorrol using this mod :-) Nostalgy...
I really wish I could fix this mod. It's great except for the guards in the watchtower having messed up facegen presets (much more noticable with OCOv2). I tried to load this in the construction set but I always get an instant CTD when I click to edit them.
Worst comes to worst I could probably just remove them I guess.
You'll need to provide a Form ID for one of the guards/constables (there's only one new NPC named "Chorrol Guard" so I'm assuming you're also referring to the 11 "Chorrol Constable" NPCs) plus a screenshot, all the ones I've seen in-game look perfectly normal, as do the ones I viewed in the Construction Set. Perhaps OCOv2 is the cause, or another mod you are using.
I also had this issue the last time I ran this mod back around May 2020. I tried to find a way to make it compatible with OCOv2 but If I remember correctly I couldn't find a way to fix the facegen presets.
Sorry to come to this in 2017, but does this add "Legion Chainmail Cuirass"? As this item is invisible on male characters, including the player, meaning floating arms and heads. I'm using Robert's Male Body Replacer, but this issue is still there even after removing it. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
[EDIT] Never mind. I'm just an idiot that needs to use his eyes. To Future Me - Use missing mesh & texture patch
I think you're asking about the Unique Landscapes Compilation rather than this mod? If so, then it's because one version contains the standard UL Chorrol Hinterland, which is not compatible with Better Cities. The other merged version does not contain UL Chorrol Hinterland but can be used with the BC-compatible UL Chorrol Hinterland - which must be loaded after Better Cities while the rest of the ULs must be loaded before Better Cities, hence BC-compatible UL Chorrol Hinterland being excluded from the merge, to allow load order to be correct.
If you're asking about files here on the UL Chorrol Hinterland page, then I don't understand the question as there are no merged files here.
So I have the newest version of Better Cities, I find that even with the BC Compatible version this, I'm getting huge landseams by the farm. Northwest, directly with the farms wooden fence parallel to Chorral's castle wall, before it hits the small river.
EDIT: Setting this specific mod after Better Cities fixed the issue. My load order, as placed by BOSS, had UL before BC. I'll keep it that way, but this one will the exception
2nd EDIT: I have no landseams but it seems I'm missing a lot of trees and shrubbery. It doesn't look bad, so I'll keep it. But I wonder if this is just something that comes with the BC version? I kinda like it, makes things more open whereas a lot of other ULs cram in everything. So just wondering
No, BOSS places xulChorrolHinterland-BC6.esp after Better Cities as that is where it is supposed to be loaded, which is also the load order stated in the Readme for the BC compatible version of Chorrol Hinterland. So you are not using BOSS correctly if BOSS placed xulChorrolHinterland-BC6.esp before Better Cities. Make sure you have the current version of BOSS and allow it to update the masterlist online to ensure a more accurate load order.
You'll need to see what using just BC and UL Chorrol Hinterland looks like in game to check whether the trees and shrubbery you were expecting are there or not. If they are there, then something else in your load order has removed them, while if they are not there, then it's intentional. I don't know as it was mhahn who adjusted Chorrol Hinterland to fit around Better Cities, and I also don't know where you were expecting to find more trees and shruberry!
Sorry for my very dumb question, but will the fact that the bash tag C.Water was added to the UL-mods, make the UL-mods not longer be usable by people like me who can not handle Wrye Bash?
I used the UL-mods together with this mod before the bash tag C.Water was added without any problems: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/8011/?
Should i better not update to the newest versions?
Bash tags do nothing at all unless you create a Bash Patch with Wrye Bash, so if you don't use Wrye Bash then the tag is meaningless and ignored by the game. You can safely update to the latest version and your game will just ignore the tag.
I decided to make Chorrol my home and with that in mind I started to look for mods to make the area look more alive. This is the first mod that came to mind. Thank you for sharing all of this beautiful content and keep up the good work!

Reinstall and it should be resolved.
