Finally the game isn't like a roadtrip where every few minutes somebody changes the song on car stereos.
Thank you to the original mod uploader for being such a boss and making a clear tutorial!

For Gamepass Oblivion Remastered players the path for the files is:

"C:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data\Music\Battle"

For anyone wondering, this still works with the remaster! Just tried it :)

Thanks for the heads up. I just spent 2 hours trying to create a mod to achieve this for the remaster but failed miserably unfortunately..
This did the trick so it will have to do for now^^

Thanks for letting us know and thanks to the original creator all those years ago. Worked flawlessly for me as well, no more sudden mudcrab orchestras to interrupt the peaceful music.

PenelopeJenga, such a great surprise to see you here!
I just decided to check if this ancient bug still works and you already did the testing for us. Thank you so much!

Haha! I should have given you the heads up on this one, I'd become so used to having no battle music that I forgot it was even a thing!

      It's fine, I found it myself! ;)
I randomly remembered this glitch while out for a walk and couldn't wait to get back home to try it and then I saw your comment confirming it still works and it made me quite happy. :)

Tested and works still with all unofficial patches and a buncha mods, but the glitch sometimes breaks and you have to do it over again.

For anyone struggling to get the vampire to follow through doors, it might be because of Oblivion Reloaded. I had to switch from ORC to ORE3 to get it working.

Always a must-have for me in any bethesda game, always hated that I can magically know that I'm being attacked because of the music, kills the surprise and immersion to me, my character not only has psychic powers but a band in his head warning him of danger, really blessed

This is the only bug what I love hehe. Thanks for share this bug to disable the combat music. I was trying do it by miself but is useless, I can only find a way to disable all the music with oblivion.ini. I try to use a bcombatmusictarget from skyrim but it was useless. I find a line in combat.ini to set some values of the detection but is buggy. Thanks a lot for the info, it works for me.
