To all those who had issues and complaints with this version of OCOL, I spent a couple weeks this summer and rewrote the launcher from scratch. Check out the final development iteration of OCOL @ tesNexus OCOL FINAL
I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've been using this for years and it's worked perfectly. The only error I've gotten is the auto update, but that's to be ignored, and can be turned off. I'm using Windows 7 and it works just fine. Although, as of today, it started misreading my bashed patch. Displaying old information, and making the patch unusable with OCOL.
EDIT: I take that back. Resetting it to default settings in the options menu fixed the bash problem.
Holy s#*! i hate this launcher. it isnt compatable with windows 7 (witch is understandable) and it F-ed up my launcher so now i have to play with conflicting mods. O ya and the "Download here" link is just an add for a get rich quick sceme i really wouldn't be so pissed if it didnt f*#@ up my launcher so now i can hardly play
Great mod. It's very efficient! Btw, has anyone thought about adding skins to it?...is it even possible? I saw the anime skin for the normal launcher so i thought "why not for ocol?" The beige background on the launcher is starting to take its toll on my eyes...
This is a really great launcher because it preserves the original functionality and adds to it. The original launcher has features I often use and this has most additional features that I wanted.
There is no portable (or manual .zip/.rar) version which I didn't like. I try to avoid installers becausing I am having registry bloating slowdowns and apps like this could easily be portable. So, to get around that I just installed, rared the files it needed and hit uninstall, re-extracted the files it needs to run, created desktop shortcut. done.
A problem I have with this in particular is that the graphics settings do not work... Other than that its great.
I don't want to rate yet, I installed it and it works, but I'm having trouble saving my game's video settings now; even SAVEINI isn't working for all the settings, I didn't have this issue before installing this. Is anyone else having this problem? Can anyone advise please?
Its a great mod and all but I'd like to know why its stuffed up my directory and caused my game to crash. I don't know if its this one or one of the other ones but not being able to delete the file doesn't really help

I downloaded OBSE 2, it didn't work, and then it corrupted my entire Elder Scrolls Oblivion game. I lost everything I had, so do not download this!
