I can get the armor to work (which i wanted) but the shield appears as a big yellow false item marker. does this have anything to do with vortex? what did i do wrong?
I think Vortex is the problem, I saw a lot of people here having issues with different mods, and Vortex was often causing it Try to unable Vortex or instal this mod manually
The Permisions say to ask for permision, PM sent, and I shall ask here too; May I use this shield resource for one of my own Mod, that is in a heavy Work IN Progress Alpha stage.
Also, the shield is not in the Imperial Compound where you got the armor?
*EDIT* For some reason, if you have enabled Alternate Start By Ship and then you load a save in which you already have the armor and in which you used the vanilla start, the shield will not appear in the compound. To fix, exit, disable the mod, get the shield, then enable if you wish, the shield should still be there in your inventory.
Hey, just downloaded your mod and i noticed a possible bug. When i put on the armor, I saw that I had only 11 armor protection when the vanilla set had 36 (my Heavy Armor skill is 100). Then I looked at the problem in more detail, I saw that the armor was in bad condition (i.e no piece was higher than about 35 and was almost broken). I repaired the armor to 125 condition and it gave me 52 protection (without the shield). So just as a notice to any people who find they have the same problem I had, look carefully at the armor's condition, see if that is the problem. you will need to have an Armorer skill of 50 or more (Journeyman) in order to repair the armor if you use the enchanted versions. Other than that, great mod, i always liked the look of the Imperial Dragon Armor (especially over Daedric, personally i don't like it) and this allows me to use the Imperial Dragon Armor effectively. One question though, is there any way you could change the 'Resist Poison' enchantment to something more useful? I'm a Redguard you see.
i guessing if i was a battlemage then changed my class i still woudlnt be able get the shield or is it scripped to appear with the mq ending with armor
