Do ALL of the circlets crash your game? I notice that it is only the amulet slot circlets that crash my game. Everything else worked fine. I deleted the amulet slot circlets from the .esp so that I don't need to worry about it ever again.
Outstanding mod! They look terrific, although, I do find items using the tail slot a bit annoying (b/c I mainly equip NPCs with them).
One thing that boggles me is the relationship between these items and head sizes. Not a knock on the mod, just a question about the head size mechanics in oblivion: nothing really obvious about an NPC that makes her head seem unusually big, but the circlets (especially Diadems) don't show (or show only partially) for certain NPCs and it's never obvious why some heads are allegedly "bigger" than others....
Really cool mod, and lots of solid choices. However, I think that it may interfere with the "Colovian traders fix" mod and make it so you're trespassing again.
So I installed this and all of the items are at the shop and are available for purchase but when I try to equip them the model does not show up on my character. PLZ help
Great mod but... I was hoping for a helmet slot circlet and not a (A) or (T) slot. There are plenty of mods that add those items. Would it be easy to go into the mod using the CK and alter it to use Helmet slots?
There is no actual helmet slot in the game AFAIK. Most helmets actually go in the "Hair" slot of armor. That means that they will replace your characters hair.
If the Circlets was placed in the Hair slot like any other helmet it would leave your character bald. That's fine for typical helmets because they hide your head anyway, but the the point of the mod is to reveal your hair and face, so it's not an option.
You might have some luck with a mod to hide helmets, but that might work in the same way.
It IS easy to go in and add it to the hair slot instead, but like I said that will leave your character bald.
Hide Helms http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34402/? will allow you to wear a normal helmet and still see your face/hair. You can wear a circlet too, but it needs to be another slot.
Personally, I've modified the circlets so that I can use them to wear Robes without losing an equipment slot (and without excessive clipping). I remove the robe I want to wear from the lower body slot (leaving it on upper body) and move the circlet to that slot instead. Looks especially nice done with Kafeid's robes.
