My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/Saves/
Simply select one of your save game files and click OPEN. Then click the FixMe button located beside the file name within the utility and you're done.
Load up the fixed save game in Oblivion and you'll notice that the form id bug is no longer a problem (items won't disappear and now stay exactly where you leave them :-)
The Ihave no greeting bug is trigered when you leave SI any way other than the portal. Check out this thread for more info . To fix it just go through the portal to SI and go back through.
erk, dumb question time. I still have the formID Mod plugged in and I backed up my saves, then proceeded to fix my main game save. Now when I talk to the adoring fan (im the arena champion) and any dark brotherhood murderer or Arquen (Listener) I either get "I have no greeting." or they refuse to give me the "Follow me" options, its like I'm at the beginning of the game :o
Is there any possibility that this becuase I used the FormID Fixer on my gamesave?
Mayu's Fixed and saved and apparently (becuase I didn't see it creep up on me cuz of my playing time (Winter, i work at an auto shop, people don't trick out cars in winter "> what else is there to play?)) I had like 4 hours left :3 and All I was doing was mod testing heh.
Yes, this is another of those little fixes with a big impact, a game saving impact in fact!I in fact started my main char again from the sewers due to the bug, oh how I wish I had seen this before I deleted the save of her at level 29! I am voting a 10 for this, and am going to recommend it on the website that I administer.
This is an essential dl for anyone who doesn't want to use Bethesda's Shivering Isle beta patch and need their save games fixed (due to form id rollover). Much quicker than installing/setting up Wyre Bash. This needs to be in the mod of the month list!
