About this mod
Because I\'m a pirate-fan and I always thought that there are too less clothes in oblivion that match with the image of a pirate captain, I started to create this mod a while ago. Because I'm a pirate-fan and I always thought that there are too less clothes in oblivion that match with the image of a pirate captain, I started to create this mod a while ago. I think it's obvious which movie-pirate I wanted to get into the game. But now I'm proud to present my finally finished pirate gear to you; I know especially the textures are everything else than perfect, but I think they aren't too bad at all. Of course I invite everybody to retexture it!
The gear is located in a chest at the end of the cargo deck of the maria elena in the imperial city harbor district.
There is a clothes-version as well as a heavy & light armor version, which both have the daedric armor stats.
I also included a new playable race, but the only new thing of this race is the (painted) beard, that means that you should better not try what happens if you click the woman button!
Some meshes of the female version are altered meshes from Growlf's awesome Hot Clothes and Armor mod, whom I whish to thank here for letting me use his meshes!
You will need Growlf's female hotbody for the female meshes to work correctly! Of course you could try it with another body but then there will be some strange texture problems on the hands and the feet.
Everyone who wants to use the clothes in this mod for his own mod is allowed to do so, as long as my name is mentioned in the credits.
To install the mod just copy all the files into your oblivion data folder and select "pale_rider's pirate gear_eng.esp" in the oblivion startup-menu.
I don't accept any liability for damages or other negative effects that could be caused by this modification.
