About this image

On my way to Kerro Radaunam to prove - if only to myself - that this peak CAN be conquered, I met a group of friendly nomads who set up their camp in the semi-desert by Woreda River. We exchanged some stories, had a few drinks, I left them a lot of food that I'd been carrying around, and in turn I got a pretty cool light armour! That was a really good deal, even if I'm going to swap it soon for something sturdier and warmer. I've heard that Radaunam is quite a challenge with its steep slopes and harsh climate. But for now I'm still enjoying the warm atmosphere and friendly company - it may be the last before attacking the mountain.

    Thanks
@ Denny: It looks pretty Spartan. Could it be these nomads are descendants of ancient warriors?
@ Tobbs: It turns out that even getting there is extremely hard (3 days passed by now - full of awesome vistas and beautiful details) as I'm trying to cut through the mountain range, but got terribly lost and these mountains are not for the faint of heart. I only wish I took more screenshots on the way...

More screenies on the way? You still can do - on your way back!

...given that you survive the mountain and come back with no broken limbs!

...or if I can ever retrace my steps (which is unlikely, because, I'm still stumbling blindly around, and had a few very steep descents, so that way is off limits...)

You're going on another climbing tour? Sounds fun, and reminds me of your last climbing tour. We will see if you reach the top this time...

    Really nice scene/setting, btw!

Ah nomads! they always have some good old stuff in their bags. Have you ever wondered about the origin of this armor?
Fantastic colors and the mood is terrifically well produced.
