Never got to use this, but holy hell it seems so good.
Wanted to search for a mod to increase stack sizes of the portables (refinery, scanners etc) because it's so annoying each one takes a whole slot.... There must be a mod for this!... this one is even better than what I imagined! But... out of date :(.
I'm baffled why aren't there more inventory mods? Like inventory tweaks, mouse tweaks similar to some minecraft mods.... I wanna shift click between starship and exosuit inventories, i want to press X and just click an item and it goes right into the slot, why do i have to select it again? Why can I only see 2 inventory rows when i select the refinery input? I have a big aah monitor, fill my damn screen up! I can see stuff, I'm not playing from the couch!
There is so much consolitis to this game's menus and interfaces, as a PC player, it drives me mad how many extra & unnecessary gestures i have to make for simple tasks....
Not as far as I know. You can give me a description of what you were doing and what happened in the bug section.
But honestly, since it was working with 1.77 I wasn't planning on updating it until the next version. I am also very busy lately and to make things better the game refuses to run properly on my computer for some reason. So I'm afraid I won't be providing any fixes anytime soon.
6 months later, so hopefully you've figured this out.
For reference of others reading this (and you, if you haven't), select and delete as you would any more permanent base structure. The field kit goes back in the inventory. Unspent fuel doesn't, unfortunately, but at least carbon is rather abundant.
Just wanted to add a note of thanks for such a well-made mod, after trying it out this evening. With max slots in my exosuit, I didn't mind using 3 for small portable tech, but didn't want to waste 3 slots for mats for the exocraft summoner, and now I don't have to.
Now, if only there were a more modular way of adding/changing crafting recipes than everyone trying to modify basebuildingtable.mbin. There was a conflict between this mod and another I was trying (one of you was slightly off mentioning what files were modified, which made me think there would be no issues), but in terms of usefulness this one came out on top.

No worries, I will try again and write a bug with screenshots if it doesnt work
I'm afraid I don't know how to fix that. Normally (without the mod), you'd only get back carbon, even if you fuelled it with condensed carbon. Oxygen harvesters and the like never gave you back anything at all, and I'm not sure why they behave differently. Returning pickup functionality might fix it, but that would kinda defeat the purpose of the mod.
I figured this was the case. It isn't a big issue at all. This mod makes the game so much better. Just cant stockpile carbon because 250 carbon goes in the refiner even when kept on the starship out of inventory range. But carbon is abundant anyway. Thanks for the mod Fr0mDutch. Neat idea that makes life easier.
Still works with patch 1.77 but it might mess a bit with the new things added by it. So if you are looking for the new buildings and you can't find them, that's why.
Yeah excellent job! This is definitely my favorite "quality of life" mod for this game. Can't wait to see it updated, because I don't want to play Visions without it!
Thats right, the download named for the abyss does not work with the visions update and will crash your game. Im definitely going to update it as soon as I have time for it.
