This MOD is 100% BROKEN as of the current date(10.27.2023), I can't play the game anymore after 2000 hours on my 1st playthrough due to this fucked HUD where I can either turn EVERYTHING off or EVERYTHING on...and the key 'H' mapping doesn't even work either. I'll never understand why they just ignored that, they don't give a rats ass about immersion I guess.
Todays update broke your mod. There's greyish see through boxes in the upper left extending down and to the right. They take up over 1/4 of the screen. Wish small updates didn't break such wonderful mods.

This made a HUGE difference in my VR playthrough. No clue how the devs thought it'd be super great to shatter the immersion with annoying blue window constantly going "HEY HEY LISTEN!" and no options to disable it. You made my playthrough 100% better. THANK YOU!!!
One thing I am seeing in VR is I'm pretty sure this mod is messing with the buy chat menu with the upgrade people in the Nexus. I can select the first option, but the Blueprints selection has the Leave button flashing over it so you can't select blueprints.
This is not 100% certain as I am running just a few of other mods, but I'm pretty sure it started with this mod. I"ll have to pull out the others and see. This is such a QOL mod that even it is 100% the culprit, I'll try to work around it. That blue window is atrocious.

Thx, It's almost perfect, but there is still the annoying Big popup notification (the one with an image, who take 40% of right side, and which warns that an upgrade module is available ...) very painful.
This mod makes such a huge difference for me, it was essential for NEXT and I've missed it for my few hours in Beyond so far. When you mention you're working on a more immersive HUD overhaul, what sort of features or ideas are you thinking? Because that's exactly the sort of thing I've been wanting for a long time now.
Back in one of the Foundation or Pathfinder versions when there was a working script extender, someone had a mod to set up a basic HUD toggle so you didn't have to go through all the menus any time you wanted to change it. It makes the experience so much better being able to decide when I want the screen full of things, but it's a pain to toggle right now. Looking forward to whatever you end up doing with it!
I've been fiddling with the idea of doing a hud toggle instead. It's doable without a script extender. I made a Skyrim overhaul before there was a mod kit of any kind, just by creating a hook program that would edit Skyrim in working memory. Some companies look down on that kind of thing, but Bethesda's always been super nice about my mods. I'm sure HG would be fine with it, too.
As for the HUD program I'd made, we'll see if I can find time to work it out for Beyond. What I did was removed some elements (like the planet info panel on the bottom left with info you can find in your visor, anyway). Then I took all of the stuff that's on the top of the HUD and moved it to the bottom, took the stuff that was already on the bottom and moved it down a little farther. There's so much room. Basically, I smooshed the HUD top-to-bottom, moved some stuff left-right or right-left. I never quite got it to not look a little off, because I wasn't creating new elements (I'm no graphics designer!). I used the mod for my own game and absolutely loved it; it just wasn't anything I would have been comfortable releasing.
If you ever do end up reworking that rearranged HUD I'd love to try it, even if it was still a WIP or not 100% how you wanted it to be. A HUD toggle is super useful too but I like the idea of rearranging the UI - like you said there can be so much space, it's not something I've really seen someone try to do with any mods since the original release.
