Hmm, maybe its just since I spawned on a snow planet, but there seems to be a blue tinge to just about everything on the hud. >.> Makes finding o2/recharging stuff a little hard on the eyes.
Anyone know what value I should try and change? I've never used a reshader before.
Hello just need clarification on the install what shaders do we need? I am getting a strange "Ghosting" effect in first person. I downloaded all the reshade shaders is this necessary?
I have the same experience, even after trying various versions of Reshade. The FPS is about 20-30 lower, even with all the effects disabled. It really frustrates me because the game benefits tremendously from sharpening.
This is not normal behavior with Reshade, by the way, I just suspect there's something with the NMS engine that messes with the performance. In my experience while playing other games, the usual perf drop is about 3-5 FPS at most if you just use a sharpening effect with some color tuning. More often than not it's a worthy trade-off, but, in the case of No Man's Sky, the overall performance is crippled, even with mods like NoFade FPS Booster.
so you can use it, this is just a set of shaders, it's not a modification. No matter what version you install it, and even what kind of game, it is a versatile tool.
Do you have an integrated graphics card? You on a laptop? BlueStar over on NMS modding discord let me know you have to disable you integrated graphics card from device manager if the above is the case for you. I had the same issue but now reshade works for me with this game.
Doing this will mess up your screen display for other apps, like chrome and word, etc., but i was able to fix mine in under a minute by poking around in the display settings menu you get from right-clicking on the desktop.
The DOF,.... doesn't matter what type I select I have whats directly in front of me blurred and then the background clear, like its the wrong way around,
Not familiar with RESHADE and wonder why we use OpenGL,,isnt DirectX faster ?
As for the DoF, if by "front of me" you mean your avatar, and by "background" you mean the landscape, then isn't that exactly what you want? Unless you want the landscape to be blurred at all times?
Well if I look directly in first person at my ships cockpit it be blurred but the wings wouldn't be. Just doesn't seem like the DOF (mattys) I suppose I am used to in say Skyrim. What's closer to you in the foreground Isn't blurred but the background at a certain radius is.

My only gripe with it is my FPS drops by about 20 (from 60~ to 40~). But I assume that's expected with a reshade. Well done.

AmbientLight - 2 FPS
BloomAndLensFlares - 2 FPS
ReflectiveBumpmapping - 7 FPS

Really hope this helps you!
