Multi-tool zoom effect and scanner range nerfed to almost zero. Great mod; would be great if it's updated! :)

Could u add a feature that makes tech not overcharge? The other mod that also does it uses the same file. Thanks!

Could you link me the mod and let me know what version of SSOOR you're using? I'll see if I can put something together for you.

I believe they are talking about this mod:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1479
Seems broken for me as well. Using version 2.32.

Yeah, we'll have to wait for mbincompiler to update, then I can push an update for this mod

I think it is broken. It's seems to massively zoom in (like Analysis view full zoom).

Confirmed, broken after the Living Ships update.
SSOOR is one of the best quality-of-life mods, hard to go back to playing without it!
Waiting eagerly for an updated release :)

Broken for me too. Really missing this. Currently, with SSOOR loaded, everything is hyper-zoomed and unplayable. Hope there's a fix sooooon.

Wrongly thought this was working again with 2.32, but that was due to Vortex disabling it. Once enabled it broke again.

Confirmed Broken with Living Ships 2.32.
HG moved some variables again in their game. They really don't like mods... :)
Edit: Seems this will take a while, at least until MBINCompiler can work with the changed structure of the file containing those variables.

Here we go again for NMS BEYOND v2.09.4 / 2.12 (build 4203647) :

    SSOOR :
SSOOR Complete (Infinite) (0.5 Second) with Tech Stacking

SSOOR + Escape Sentinel Ships :
SSOOR Complete (infinite) (0.5 second) with Tech Stacking and EscapeSentinelShips

So for both versions i changed the scan timing from one second to half of it and increased the radius of your torch (that last part was already done in previous versions i made).

I might add later on a version with more changes to it, like more mining from deposits and asteroids, increased cooking and refining speed multiplier (didn't test that last bit yet). If that appeals to any of you just ask me (replying to that post so i'll get a notification).

Until then, or the next update, Enjoy it guys !

I have been tracking this for a while (and using it), and I apologize if I missed it but I was curious as to why you haven't just made a new posting with your work or ask the original mod author to take over (if you haven't already). I would think it would get more exposure that way and make it easier for folks to update it (with vortex being able to track mods getting updated). regardless I greatly appreciate your work on this mod.

Thanks. That's because i'd feel like i'd be stealing alechielke's work/mod if i would release it as a new Mod, and i don't like imposing myself to take his Mod over.
But yeah you're right, i'm just too shy, i should ask him how he'd fell about it.

Actually looking at the "Permission and Credit" i could/should make a new release, especially since that was an update from a previous Mod.

Oh well, we'll see, i might soon.

I for one would appreciate that :)

I do thank alechielke very much for the update, but have to admit, i'm missing the tech stacking.
All the other combined versions i've seen so far have also been messing around with the torch, which won't work for my migraines ha

      @Puddycat
I'll see what i can do once monkeyman192 will update his great tool (MBINCompiler) for "global" files, to be able to update "GCGAMEPLAYGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN", which is the file affected by this Mod.

Oh yes, i forgot that the compiler needed updating first.
No worries, and thanks so much for looking into it for us @NooBzPoWaH! :)

The mod has been updated for 2.23 Synthesis. A vortex installation menu has been added, so you can use vortex to download and install the mod now. Let me know if you run into any problems. Cheers!
