I'm not sure if it's the same thing but there seems to be some sort of ugly coloured filters applied to space stations as well, does this remove that too or if not can you please make a version that does ? It just looks like a short cut way of giving space stations different lighting.
no way to fix it. its a vanilla bug. seems in NEXT, space stations have a filter that gets applied which is the same as the filter on the last planet you visited.
I tried a mod called "Vintage Filter" I believe it was and that seems to remove the colours from space stations very well, however I believe it also removes the filters from planets too {except the vintage filter} so that may be why it works ?
yep, if there are no filters to apply on the planets, then there wont be any filter to apply on the space stations since the last visited planet doesnt have one. so yeah, thats why it works.
This mod does not seem to change all planets to filmic filter. After installing the mod it made no difference to the planet i was on so i decompiled the file and seen that default filter was still as default. So i change this default filter to filmic and now it works so im not sure of the mod currently saying all Biomes. But is a good mod none the less well done. Changed Segment 1 to " <Property name="Default" value="GcScreenFilterData.xml"> <Property name="LocText" value="PHOTO_FILTER_1" /> <Property name="Filename" value="TEXTURES/LUT/FILTERS/FILMIC.DDS" /> <Property name="FadeDistance" value="0" /> <Property name="SelectableInPhotoMode" value="True" /> </Property>"
Could you make a mod that just swaps all the desaturated/grey/grey and red filters for the default one, and leaves all others untouched? The desaturated ones are the only ones I wish I could remove tbh
I noticed your new version of the mod removes the green filter on the scanner, which is great atm there are no scanner mods for NEXT, thought you should add that to mod description.
I use a different scanner mod. Can you not touch scanners please as it has nothing to do with biome filters (even if it may or may not be in the same folder etc) and can cause issues if you edit something that has nothing to do with filters without telling us and we have other mod that does it.
For me I noticed I had lag when scanning which I never had before. I removed the other scanner mod and it stopped. Then installed other mod again and removed this also lag/stuttering went. Installed both and stuttering returned. Could be a co-incidence but it's best to only edit what your mod says, and not add silent mods to it.
Hey there! Thanks for making this! I left this same comment on your VG Mods page, but leaving here as I use Nexus more and hoping to reach you ASAP:
Cool! Would it be possible to have the default filter replaced with the Vibrant or Filmic filter instead? I just bought the game a day before Next and thought the filters were a great option to have during gameplay, I was crushed when I found out they for some inconceivable reason got rid of the feature outside of camera mode for NEXT. Cheers!
there is mod that does on the No Man's Sky modding discord by another author. check the mod releases channel in the modding discord for the vintage filter swap
the mod swaps biome specific filters, so you wont get planets that have filters like the one in this picture https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1634/images/622/622-1532624525-324131051.jpeg

Desaturated filter is almost everywhere
Wish I could remove only that one
You state this mod is not compatible with anything that edits /metadata/effects.
Does this mean this mod is not compatible with
No Blinding Freighter Lights METADATA\EFFECTS\EXPLOSIONTABLE.MBIN
If not, can you please provide the specific files you edit? It seems both mods are working together fine for me.
Also does this mod (or ANY of your mods) affect this one?
