Looks like at the moment (Worlds Part I v5.0 update) those effects could be disabled from vanilla in-game options. Under "Camera" section there in a checkbox named "Vignette & Scanlines" with some shady description about "motion sickness during exploring". This is it. It does not mention chromatic aberration, but it removed that also for me.
Working fine for me, no crash on first cache rebuild. However, I was using TAA (low) to improve performance (game still lags badly on high end machines when there are a lot of particles on screen or when rotating POV quickly) and with this installed the shield and life support status bars are severely aliased. Cranking the AA to TAA+FXAA reduces it somewhat, but it's still pretty noticeable and then I have to deal with the aforementioned lag. Instead of solid bars, they look like subtly wavy lines, like the outlines on characters in a Squigglevision cartoon. Maybe that's the price we have to pay to be free of feeling like we're watching the game on a CCTV system built in the '90s.
