This mod includes five copies of .MBINCompiler-v1.34.exe in the PAK file, one for each modified MBIN. The size of the mod could be reduced perhaps by more than half if those unnecessary files were removed.
=X Thanks for the heads up! I've a bad habit of not doing careful folderkeeping with some of my work. I generally like to think it helps ensure others down the line can revise stuff as needed with the appropriate compiler, but 5 is definitely excessive on my part!
Unfortunately it's always active, simply as a result of how the effect is achieved. There may be some methods to achieve this that permit it to be toggled, but this would likely require either a script extender, .dll injector, or some form of CheatTable.
The first is no longer updated for current versions of NMS, the second, while perhaps possible, may be somewhat unreliable depending on different users' setting configurations, and the third may not be possible as how the scene is loaded is likely scattered across dynamic memory addresses, rendering a CheatTable kind of moot.
It's not ideal, but currently the best way to toggle this effect is to load in with the mod, capture whatever footage or shots you're after, and then set it aside in a subfolder in your MODS folder to resume normal play.
Wonder if it is compatible with the 3rd.person mod? Would be end-game to be able to switch between the three views... Fullscreen (this), 3rd and cockpit.
