Long story short, working on this mod is very (too much in fact) time and energy consuming. Since I've had my own game to develop for quite some time now (where I am not bound by someone else's design / architecture / restrictions when it comes to procedural generation), I hope you understand that I'd rather be fully committed to it than to modding NMS.

Note: To generate a specific preset with the script, simply change the "Template" variable in "Mod" to any existing preset you'd like (they are listed just above in the array "Preset" still in "Mod").
It's a secret On a more serious note, it's been on a break for quite some time due to me moving to Japan but I'm now working on it again. I'll definitely post something here when I get closer to the release! (hopefully not in an eternity but... we never know what life has in store for us so we'll see XD)
2024 and it is still hidden this 'Awesome's' update, geez... It's such a shame to see this great mod fall from grace like this without no further updates from the official owner of this mod or any consistent/solid support from fans. Truly sad, I remember playing around with this and being on the Discord once upon a time and everything about this project had good things coming towards it, but for whatever reason whether laze, personal dilemmas or loss of interest, it's been indefinitely dropped. None of my business anyway really, but regarding the mod at least, it is a true mod tragedy. Loved this generator over all the others. By far!
I guess I am gonna give LASAGNA another go but to be fair I am sick of getting stuck in the air trying to pass large objects and flora haha! I am not one of those who likes to destroy and grab resources unless I have too, besides Sentinel interference can be loathsome to deal with at times as we all know. Heh! Oh and then randomly falling to my death aha! Regarding big objects messing up mesh-box wise.
If only I knew how to do advanced modding, I am only a veteran content implementer of mods plus a good hunter of incompatibilities too, and my skill in modding itself is rather basic. Welp, back to basics.

I find it a bit sad too that no one took over this mod more seriously but then again, Hello Games made things a lot harder when it comes to tweaking the procedural generation imho. Haven't played the game in years now so I don't know if it changed or not since then but I have my doubts XD
Regarding the reasons it's actually quite simple:
The game went into a direction I was not really interested in so I stopped playing and Hello Games made some big changes to the procedural generation which made things extremely hard for me to get consistent results.
In addition to that, I lost the ability to easily inject custom assets (especially the big elements for which I created custom colliders at the time amongst other things) without going through a huge amount of pain (if even possible).
Last but not least, my own project takes priority over this one since time is limited (especially now that I've moved to Japan, it's been on standby for quite some time).
I hope that explains a bit better and I wish you the best!

I recognize the changes but what you perceive from the game is probably very different from what I perceive when it comes to procedural generation and modding. The game was never well made in that respect and made things hard when it came to modding (especially for the ProGen). Now it's even harder and more tedious imho so I can't afford to lose an insane amount of time just to update the mod (especially since I'm on linux and it's even more painful to mod it from there...). Also, I'm working on my own game so I'd rather fully commit to it rather than work on NMS tbh... Anyway, I had released the files used to generate the mod so anyone can download and tweak them to update it.
Well, as I've said the files to generate it are there so anyone can tweak them to update it ;) Unfortunately I don't have the time nor the will to do it anymore so sorry about that!
Man, this was always one of those game changer mods that seemed like a no-brainer, but made all the difference in the world. Thanks for making gaming more wonderous to me as I explored the far reaches of space, my friend! Hope you're doing well.

Does any one still have Shaidak's Generation version 3?, I'm trying to play pathfinder, the later versions crash on startup
