Hasn't been updated since 21. Installed fine but can't find my save data even when I set the path correctly. Broken for me. I loved this app back in the day but no working now.
I just downloaded this last night and it appears to be something helpful - thank you! However, all I'm seeing is data registered by some person Degusan. It appears to be their profile? I can't find where I could change it to my profile. ?? It's a bit overwhelming but I'm positive I'm not "Degusan" and it's not capturing my data. I've looked at the FAQs on Github but maybe this is just not a current tool?
I have the same. It finds me OK with my one new game location, but there's 60 locations discovered by someone called "Azalus"! My profile is purely me, so not sure how this 3rd party gets in. I see it's in the Appdata cache.json - but resetting the caches in Settings doesn't clear it, nor does forcing the app to make a new cache either. Seems to be part of the app build.
installs perfect on windows 10/11 no issues again it is probably the rights issues as i see more posts about this not able to run For me it installed perfect and checked if it has the proper rights to run For help on rights issues my advise is to find a youtube video how to fix user rights when getting this wierdo errors It is way too complex to explain here, as it can have many causes. As M$ keeps making more changes to windows which are totally overboard and not needed we will from time to time get ourselfs having this idiot over protection pains and more and more restrictions ( which actually only is good for M$ but not for us )
Still an absolutely wonderful application. Author assisted with moving my profile from old computer to new computer. It's a necessity for me, with over 2500 discoveries saved over the years. Nice to be able to port back to the very first system I ever discovered at release. Of course it's morphed over the years.
Hi Interlopers, This gem of a tool is still working as far as I can see... I have to say this has been a go to tool since starting 3 years ago and the ability to befriend someone and share their star map data is awesome (And why would two or more people meet in space and share data)... It even takes steam screen shots for you automatically as you land on a planet...! Don't let it pass you by install it today and leave it running in the background while playing...
I've been to 78 systems and it only shows I have 1 Registered Locations. Whereas other new users seem to show more than one, many up to 40+ but not mine. I also get this API error received (404) and Location not found: -64:4:1781:0:102:6
Also The app for me says NO MAN"S DISCONECT instead of NO MAN"S CONECT My wife also downloaded this app and she gets the same thing as me. Also how does this recognize friends.We can not see each other on this app. Oh and her app says NO MANM"S CONECT, why is mine different? EDIT: I found a offline mode option that I must have accidently clicked so it fixed the name of the App (NO MAN"S CONECT / NO MANM"S DISCONECT) EDIT 2: Found the add friend for the app. So friends is just for the app and not in game friends I'm assuming.

Description of the problem: Doesn't sync all the locations (Systems and Planets) I've been to. Other new users seem to show them but not mine. I've been to 78 systems and it only shows I have 1 Registered Locations. I also get this API error received (404) and Location not found: -64:4:1781:0:102:6

When I discover new planets with this APP open they come up unknown. I see other people with unnamed planets as well, I've seen only a few that had names. Is it supposed to add the names or is it broken for me? It would be nice to know the name of the planets, but those aren't showing up for me.
How does username protection work? I added a recovery email address and click on "Username Protection" to enable this feature. However, it is still shown as disabled. (Tried several times.) What am I missing?
The recovery email functionality is currently not working due to rate limiting on Mailgun's free plan. In the mean time, if anyone encounters this issue, please email your NMC username (check my github profile) and I can manually reset the profiles while this is an ongoing issue.

If i where you check rights on windows as that probably blocks it to work
