Can you explain how to perform a hot reload in the description? Does it happen automagically when the files are changed??
Also, fwiw, not everyone wants to turn off the day/night cycle, nor will they all know how to go in and delete that line. Would probably be better as a second mod, so people can choose.
Before I made it to testing the mod itself, I discovered this mod removed a bunch of icon images from the settlement overview and base building pages, leaving them as blank white squares. No idea how or why one those two lines of code did that, but there it is. Deleting the mod fixed the issue.
I do have a bunch of mods installed, including Faster Boot Logos which also has a GCDEBUGOPTIONS.GLOBAL.EXML file, though it mods a different variable, <Property name="BootLogoFadeRate" value="99.00000" /> So it shouldn't be a conflict afaik.
Yeah, I had the same bug while testing, on a save with no mods whatsoever. Don't know why it happens. I just kinda deal with it, honestly.
Yes, the changes happen when you alt-tab then alt-tab back, but you need to reset the parameter in question in-game in order for it to change. E.g. if you change Roamer's top speed parameter, you need to reset the car in-game by summoning it from the quick menu again before you can actually see the change.
As for the second mod, I wouldn't really want to bloat this site with useless mods. I considered not even publishing this one due to how small and primitive it is. If a user needs day/night cycle, I think it's not too much hassle to just delete that line from the file using notepad.
