I don't have any questions about how to install, I don't have any requests about what to do next, and; I'm not asking for technical help. I came to show some love on the absolute BEAUTY in these hand-crafted biomes. Warp after warp, system after system, planet after planet they have this attention to detail that I you can feel. I haven't dipped into the oceans yet, but I'm pretty sure they're crafted with just as much love and skill. Great job on this. Cheers!
I updated Plumgen, a biome generation app, to the latest Worlds Part 2 update: https://github.com/SunnySummit/PLUMGEN. Find the latest version under the 'Releases' section.
Please don't take this as criticism or as "gotcha". I'm just curios. Html and a little java is about all the "coding" I know. How does handcrafting work with procedural generation? I understand that Skyrim is handcrafted and Starfield is PG. So does this in general terms, kinda replace the biomes with ones you handcrafted and they're kind like in the loot order. Meaning that PG generates according to the parameters you set and then it just does PG with those? To be honest, I think if you explained it to me I might not understand LOL
I set parameters like scale, density, placement (forest vs plains, etc.), PG selects model, colors, stuff like that. I'm not sure how it works 100%, lots of things obfuscated by the EXE.
App I made and other methods all pinned in comments above. Cheers.
amazing work love everything you do, but quick question about 1.2 update. Can you use this with your LG2 found on the git? or now when it says that it includes all versions you have merged highlights and LBG2 now?
Lasagna 2 hasn't been updated in like a month. No clue about compatibility right now. Keeping it up to date is an ordeal, especially with Worlds sized updates.
Hello, I hope you respond, I couldn't find you on discord. Your biomes look absolutely amazing!! I am old/new to NMS, I played in 2018 on Xbox, but a lot has changed. I really wanna use your biomes and worlds like I said they look amazing, I am just wondering if I can play a normal play through using your mod?
Thanks, I'm glad you like how it looks. And yes, you can play this normally (at least, I don't see why not). If you find a bug, then please submit a bug report in the "Bugs" tab.

I would love to do a playthrough using this mod, but every time I add it to my game it completely breaks all plants and rocks in the game. How do they break? They don't render. They are invisible until I look directly at them, then and only then do they become visible. So all planets looks empty until I start moving and looking around.
I have made sure all my drivers are up to date. I have done a clean install of the game, and still get the same issue. I have tested every LOD mod available here on the Nexus to see if they would help, some if them force a few things to render in but most things till stay invisible until looked at. I have had this issue with every planet and biome generation mod I have tried in the past as well, but I don't have these render issues when I don't have such a mod installed.
My system specs are way higher than this game requires, and I have it installed on an SSD. A google search didn't help much beyond confirming others have had this issue as well, but no solutions. I can't even tell if this is a mod issue or just a very poorly documented game bug that only shows itself with mods installed. If anyone has any ideas I would be thankful for the help.
I've noticed artifacts with plants and flora after the latest update (5.58), but nothing like you describe. I reverted to 5.57 and had no issues. Not sure how to help you, but might be worth reporting this to HG.
Edit: Welp, it was an old mod with outdated models in my case
Yeah since I've been having the issue since 2021 with every mod that affects biome or planet generation or adds new assets so I'm pretty sure it's a game bug and not a mod issue. I'm also pretty sure that reporting it won't do much good, since I found posts reporting this issue in various places for years already and only seems to occur with mods installed. So chances of HG fixing it are likely slim to none, since it only seems to affect a select few players.
Thanks for returning your mods to Nexus. I did have some questions about this mod, as after I installed it, many of the biomes I've seen still look like the vanilla biomes. I wasn't sure if the game was recognizing your mod as active In your handcrafted biomes, did you keep some of them pretty close to vanilla, just tweaking some of the density/frequency of object placement with maybe a couple new ones? I've been using your GitHub full version for a while, and the changes were a lot more noticeable; I also noticed that the volcano worlds never seemed to appear in the "full version". Those worlds have returned with Highlights, but seem pretty much like the vanilla ones.
I can understand why you may have toned things down a lot here, compared to the non-Highlights version, as that version did often have performance/sudden object spawning issues, which I'm sure is hard to avoid with so many objects added. Just want to make sure the mod is working as intended.
Never mind....I am an idiot. I thought the main folder itself was what I shoud be putting in MODS, but I see there are 3 folders nested within. Gonna give it a go now.
I have two mods that interfere with this mod as they have the same files
gcenvironmentglobals.global.EXMLgcgraphicsglobals.global.EXML Could I remove these and still be able to use the new biomes? I read below plotinus asked about them replacing the already base worlds in the game but just to make sure do they take the place of base worlds or are they added next to them? Thanks.

Yes. But if someone doesn't have it installed, then they won't see the same biomes.
Is it compatible with xyz mod?
Probably. See changelog on main mod page or the README in the download folder for more info.
Are the new biomes added to the vanilla ones, or are some vanilla ones replaced?
As of v1.2, you can find vanilla biomes, although it's rare.
Will this destroy my base?
It shouldn't. I haven't personally tested this, though.
