How do I install it under the new modding scheme? I tried placing the TEXTURES folder in GAMEDATA/MODS, but the game crashes when it reaches the splash screen.

I'm on the latest update, and this is the only mod currently installed.
Hi this to me just looks like your using a mod that's not compatible with Worlds 2? because this is working for me.
For me all I have done was to make a new folder in NMS / Gamedata / Mods (not pcbanks anymore)
But for now Vortex is still placing the installed mods into the wrong location, so once I have installed a mod using vortex i just cut/paste into the correct folder and everything is working including this one. Hope this may help
I'm sorry I didn't make it back to edit my original comment in time. I eventually solved the issue. It wasn't an issue with the game or the mod. I was trying to load bad save files that I had forgotten I messed around with in NMS Save Editor. Looking at it now, that's probably another good thing to add to the troubleshooting steps for many mods. Simply try loading the game up with a vanilla save, cross save, or starting a new save entirely.
Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place as this is more a question about Vortex and deploying the mods into the new Worlds pt2 Mod folder. As mods now have to be placed in a different location (mods folder) and not pcbanks ect, how do I change in vortex so mods now go into the new folder and not the old one?, as all the mods are going into the "pcbanks" still which means none are working until I've moved them manually into the new folder.
I don't know if it's possible, most likely you'll have to wait for Vortex to be updated to work with the new modding layout in Worlds part II, for now manually dragging and dropping mods into the new GAMEDATA/MODS folder seems to work great, if not ideal
