The NMS 5.20 Cursed Expedition has a milestone to find Hugering Tendrils, so will want to temporarily remove this mod, to complete that.  :)

Make certain you are on NMS 5.12.  If you are using experimental or an older version, would need to rebuild using the lua and AMUMSS

You're problem is you have a MOD conflict.  One or more other mod paks making changes to METADATA\SIMULATION\SCENE\EXPERIENCESPAWNTABLE.MBIN.  Only one mod, last loaded will work in this scenario.  Need to use Lua scripts to combine the conflicting mods.  If not able or willing to do this, then you need to choose one of the conflict mods to use and not use the others.

Get and install AMUMSS, has a built in conflict checker.  The one that'll be coflicting is METADATA\SIMULATION\SCENE\EXPERIENCESPAWNTABLE.MBIN.  Don't post your list of mods here, I'm not going through and checking them all.

I've taken this troubleshooting as far as I can in this particular venue\forum.  Let you know what the issue is and how to detect and resolve it.  If you need additional help, recommended that you go to the modding section of one of the NMS Discord servers, where you can post screenshots and troubleshoot in real time.

Thank you for creating the mod. There was an earlier one that wouldn't work. Why would stuck install, and then the geology cannon broke. Gonna download. Thank you again. No more hidden mystery doors in the ground.

I believe the Xenocolony titan worms may be in a different file? I installed this but the Xenocolony world I am on still has the worms. Xenocolony is a type of infested world which has titan worms also.

The mod doesn't get rid of the worms themselves, per se, it gets rid of the wormspawners (called Titan Worm Burrow in-game) that generates them.  In the METADATA\SIMULATION\SOLARSYSTEM\BIOMES\OBJECTS\RARE\INFESTATION file, which is the biome overlay when a planet is infested.  I did test on several infested worlds.  Do you have the glyphs and galaxy for that planet?  The name would be good too, so I can confirm it's the right one, when I get there.  :)

Are you using any biome mods?  Might be a conflict.
Good Old NMS - Biomes from Foundation Pathfinder and Atlas Rises at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
LASAGNA Biome Generation at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
      Something of Redmas'
and possibly Better Planet Generation all would make changes to the same file.

Are any of your mods working and do you get the mod click-through screen when entering the game?  If not, make certain that the NMS 4.52 hotfix hasn't recreated NMS Install\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\DISABLEMODS.txt.

I went to Ayneme Prime - No Man's Sky Wiki (fandom.com).  Without mod, Titan Worm Burrows on the scanner.  With mod, no Titan Worm Burrows.  Can you tell me more about where you are seeing them on your xeno colony planet?  Are you seeing the burrows on your scanner (binocs)?

I dunno then. All my other mods work. Not using any biome or planet generation mods, as I don't like that they mess with getting 100% completion on scanning by adding new items to the list not recognized by the severs.

I compile with AMUMSS and read the report.lua to be aware of any existing conflicts (there are none) but now I've seen the titan worms on 2 planets still. Not sure why.

Not sure how to find the burrows... at this point I'll just avoid these planets as I don't really feel like troubleshooting this any further.

Please provide the glyphs of the planets that you're seeing them on and the galaxy, so I can take a look.  :)

both the biome mod links seem to go no where, was checking and reading to see what might conflict with mine so far no obvious answers.. Is there a quick way to copy the list of current mods installed on nexus and post it?

Would be cool if there was a version that just made them more rare. Its like HG felt bad they didn't deliver this, now every system has giant flying worms and its totally unimmersive. I feel like its something you might find in 1 out of 20 or 30 systems.

Weird thing is, there's settings to adjust probability for abandoned, empty, and outlaw\pirate systems, but not dissonant.

Will this mess up 100% scanning those planets?

Shouldn't at all.  The titan worms aren't part of a planets creature count.
