Mad, this cool! I want to know if it is possible to somehow return the galaxy itself on the map like in the vanilla version?

If you mean the vanilla minimap, its absolutely possible but I don't want to because I think it looks terrible.

Brother, can you tell me how to return it, but only it, leave the rest as you did? The thing is that I am conducting some experiment on finding the Earth and I need precise positioning for being in the galaxy. I need to understand in which arm of the galaxy I am. Although NMS is designed as a random generation, perhaps this is one of the super Easter eggs of the game :D At least I want to believe in it))

Well, you need a to use a program called MBINcompiler to decompile E3 Galactic Map\UI\GALAXYBAR.MBIN file from my mod. In the decompiled file you would change "true" on line 3267 to "false" and "false" on line 3526 to "true". Then you would recompile the file and it should work. If you don't want all that trouble you can also just delete the GALAXYBAR.MBIN file from my mod altogether, which will revert the whole bar at the top of galactic map (including the minimap) back to what it is in vanilla.

I will warn you though, the vanilla minimap isn't exactly "precise", it is drawn at the wrong perspective such that being in the north or south part of the galaxy gives the impression of being closer to the center than you actually are.

https://galacticatlas.nomanssky.com/ This official map of the Euclid Galaxy might be helpful to you, it's pretty much a more detailed version of the minimap but built into the No Man's Sky website

It looks good, but unfortunately the game in the galaxy map even without the mod is SO GD BRIGHT you can't see ANYTHING. Especially with this mod.

Looks very clean! Update for last version? Galactic map and loading screen looks grey/white in last version.

Nice work! Suggestion/question: Would it be possible to have the angle of each star's system map be randomized?

Wow, this is absolutely fantastic.  It's a shame they actually didn't keep this style in the first place, it is so much cleaner and modern looking.

Thank you for sharing this.  It was a bit of work for me, with no lua file, to tweak it to merge the star-color mod that I also use, but it was worth the effort.

Have you considered modding the UI element that shows the scanned information on planets when flying in-system to be similar in style to the system display from this mod?   I would download a mod that did that in a heartbeat.

I want to over time rework more of the game's UI into a style that matches this and the inventory from the first month of IGN coverage. Doing the planet info like that is absolutely on my todo list, but inventory and hud are much higher priority, so no promises on that anytime soon

      That's actually pretty darn awesome.
I'll be following what you do closely.  I really love this look.  I have always been a fan of clean, minimalist UI's.

Omg, thank you. I had no clue there was a star color mod.
Thank you both. Using them now. Beautiful imagery.

      Thanks again AyyMang!

Hi, may I ask how did you get that to work? Did you merge this mod with Lo2k's Colorful Starfield mod in AMUMSS? When I try this, Im getting errors related to one of the MBINs in Galactic Map mod and no merge is being produced.

Disregard, it was a stoopid on my side.

Really nice looking displays. I just wish you had an option to either keep the star colors or have them more vibrant in their colors (blue, red, green, purple, etc) for better distinction. That would be the only thing I would miss. Other than that, they look wonderful.
