    At the moment, this lua file when compiled through AMUMSS throws an error, the only one out of 89 mods that I build from Lua files. If the author has the time and opportunity, please update the Lua file. If anyone knows how to fix it, please write - I'll fix it myself. Very cool mod, too bad it doesn't work right now.

      I dont know if you guys found any solution yet. Babscoole has altered the code on github (https://github.com/MetaIdea/nms-amumss-lua-mod-script-collection/tree/main/Silent369) to make it work again. If you dive into the commit you will discover that the lines 70 and 98<Property name="AltID" value="" />
      have been deleted.

      God bless you! Thanks dude! I just downloaded the entire Lua collection yesterday, but I didn’t have the sense to double-check the file itself since both of them are version 1.9. YES! With the lua file from github - compilation went without errors and checked in the game - it works without errors. When I meet people like you, I believe that humanity has the right to another chance! Thank you for the great advice and for restoring my faith in the kindness of people! ))

      let us all thank those blessed people making mods for us to enjoy, like Silent369 and Babscoole. The real heroes of the community.
      I know, seeing the world sometimes burn is luckily not the end since there are still humans with us, they are just rare nowadays ;)
      I think Babscoole doesn't change version numbers in any of those lua's as the focus is just on fixing the errors.

    For now this mod not completable with NMS
    It deletes docking area of all Freighter, so you can`t dock in.
    Hope for a fix! Thank you!

    Does this work with the GoG version of the game?
    Amumss says I have no conflicts with my other mods, but I have never gotten this to work with my freighter. (Space rescue Venator S class).
    I can only assume there is a hidden conflict with another mod I have, but without doing a one at a time check, I don't know how to find it if AMUMSS can't.

    EDIT: I found the issue. I was using Vortex to install this, and since the .pak files are inside another folder inside the zip, the game wasn't reading the .pak files. Just as a fyi, to make this vortex install friendly, just put the .pak and .lua files naked into the zip. not in folders. then Vortex will install it correctly.
    After extracting the .pak files out into the mods folder, I found that it did conflict with this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/2754 glight Better Ship Lighting.
    Once I used AMUMSS to get the .lua files out of the lighting mod pak files and combined them with yours, it functions as expected.
    Thanks for a excellent mod! Maybe you could take over one of the freighter landing pads and convert it into the starship fabricator?? Then I could check each builds SC slot layout without leaving the comfort of my freighter.

    Does this work with the Pirate Dreadnoughts?

    Edit: I checked, and it unfortunately does not. Maybe something you can add later?

    Unfortunately causes bizarre issues as of the Omega update.


    • In the new expedition, my ship would vanish upon disembarking at pirate stations.
    • It was impossible to attack with my Multitool while planetside. I could still switch modes and switch tools, but trying to fire wouldn't even show the model or related animations, as if the input was disabled.

    Both issues began when I re-enabled this mod following the Omega update and ceased when I removed it again. I imagine the sudden problems might have something to do with the new player-ownable pirate freighter type being added.

    I do hope it's fixable. This is very convenient and I wish it was a vanilla upgrade you could get.

      Waiting for updates to calm down, there always seems to be a series of smaller fixes after an update. Once the next incoming patch drops i will update all my mods.

    Hi,
    like your mod. That's what i missed most in vanilla.
    Question: Is it possible to change the places of the two terminals?
    The game places the 6 ships on deck 1&2, but the terminal is betwen 2&3.
    So it would be nice, if i don't have to run across the whole deck to get to the terminal.
