NOTE: Any mod with the version 4.412a is built on the experimental files and might be incompatible with the public branch until HG pushes experimental to public, probably on Monday, 28 August, UK time.

Please use the official Nexusmods Collections instead. That preserves the author's download count and avoids any issues with people getting out of date mods from a secondary source.

Also, I wouldn't recommend including this in a collection. There are too many significant issues with how it works.

Same issue : when I reload my save, the tech installed in cargo is repackaged again.
    Very strange isn't it !!

I have found other weird issue - after installation of the mod I installed all my upgrades of the living ship fine. After next start of the game, when they were again uninstalled (as said in the known issue) and I reinstalled them again, this time they gave me an error of "core overloaded". Even though previously the upgrades were fine and some even green (I was in the spaceship when it happened and just after switching from solar ship which I bought). So I reloaded a manual save and now, when I installed the upgrades at the same cargo slots again, this time from my Freighter, they didn't cause a core overload.

This mod is helping so much getting over the inventory disaster.
Even with the "known issue" it is so much better than what we get without it.
Yesterday's deep frustration is clearing away faster than expected :) - Thank you so much!
(Can't endorse yet, will check again.)

Installed the mod works fine but when you do a reload or quit the game and come back in all the tech is back the way it was only way to get it to work again is removing the mod and putting it back in but it does it all over again when you reload or quit and come back in.

Thanks for the report, I tested it and added a disclaimer:

**KNOWN ISSUE**  When you reload a save, the tech installed in cargo is repackaged again. It maintains the layout, so you can just press E and click on each one, but it's a hassle. Know that this mod is not a silver bullet to have exactly how it worked before 4.0.

Not working when used with the newly updated Faster Analysis 4.0, use alternative faster scanning mods to avoid this not functioning as intended

Have you tried using AMUMSS to combine mods into 1 pak?

It's not working for me, all I did was unzip it and stick the pak file in pcbanks/mods then ensure disablemods.txt was gone. The only other mod installed is exolars quick scan with range boost, and that mod is working fine. Did I do something wrong?

Do you use AMUMSS to detect if the mods are conflicting with each other?

It looks that you just saved my living ship, if the mod will work. Thanks.

Dang, that was quick! I figured with what seems like such a large game update, the mod scene will take a while to be caught up -- should have figured @brittfrey would prove me wrong.

It's all thanks to the MBIN Compiler crew and Monkeyman automating the update of it. We couldn't do it without them.
