Before posting: If an new update has dropped it can take up to  a week or more for the compiler to be updated. Unless the old compiler still works. So be patient, as soon as the compiler is updated I'll update my mod.
Before posting any issues or idea's read the description.

Most of my other mods have NMSMB scripts, so they are compatible with this mod. If you use burnbaby you can uninstall that mod as this mod also adds the incinerator back into the game.

New custom mod idea's are welcome. A few things you have to keep in mind, I cannot cross f.e. ship specific stat types over to weapons so you will have to look at the existing stat values if you want to submit an idea.

If you have more then one mod that change the same file do not forget to merge those mods

IF you update with NMSMB use the latest pre-release found on
    NMSMB Releases?

Quick question. I haven't actually purchased any of the mods yet, but they seem to be loaded correctly and working fine. Can anyone tell me if they count towards your total mod counts for each upgraded item? Like how we can have only four mods installed at any one time before the technology gets overloaded?

I know I could install them and find out for myself, but I'm getting ready to fly home after the holidays and probably won't be able to play NMS for a couple days, so I'd appreciate a quick "Yep. Still only four mods. These are just better," or "Nope. Load them all and pretend they're Pokémon."

    Thanks.

Still 4 mods and they are on steroids basically. You can always give it a spin on a new save with purchase free/skip tutorial in case you're still not sure

    Compatibility patch request:

    Craftable Upgrade Mods
    https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1944

I use .PAK file NOT the .LUA file

    Description:
They seems to work together for the most part BUT this mod tends to overwrite parts of the mod I listed. Was hoping to try and get a compatibility made so it can work together. I'm not 100% as there was a lot of switching between the 2 mods and I got to a point my brain started to hurt trying to make 100% sure.

    Request:
A patch or 2 to help make these work together as I do not know how to make a patch myself. I'm not a mod creator just a mod user.

    Note:
I will also be making this report on the other mods as well so you all can coordinate if need be.

    Note 2:
Please be aware that I play MANY games and most popular Skyrim, Oblivion, and Marrowind and Fallout NV, 3 & 4 and ARK Survival Evolved. If you come back to me saying that you are unable to make a compatibility patch, please be aware, I call a load of bull. These popular games are always making compatibility patches and some people on No Man's Sky modders have already made a few compatibility patches. I will not take the, I can't do it crap when people do it all the time in many many games that support mods and it saves people like me who have NO MODDING SKILLS trying to figure something out that they have NO experience in and could do a lot of damage because we don't know what we are doing. Please just do me the favor and just make the compatibility patches. If those popular games can do it, and some people on No Man's Sky at this point, I have no doubt you can do it as well so please just do it not just for me but others as well. You would get more traffic and people downloading your mod if you just make a compatibility patch and publish it instead of coming back and telling me your not able to do it. If you weren't able to do it, nobody on any other came couldn't do it ether.

You know you are right I havent read no mans sky stuff on modding. However, I don't think it was ever there intent to not have people help those that has never created a patch or even created a mod iself. I have a form of autisum and I can promise you I do not care how many usermanuals you make, I NEVER understand the crap and so I am sure No man's sky would undertand in a case like this because I do not belive it was ever there intent for people to REFUSE to help when someone like me can't even process or understand it becasue it makes our brain explod trying to figure it out.

Im all for obaying the terms of service BUT I am prety sure they never meant for people to refuse to help with with that kind of inability to understand modding.

Hence there is a link to the modding discord in the how to, where we can help step by step setting it up or provide merged pak time to time. But helping you set it up is less work and helps you in long run.

It allows you to update even before we have time to upload to nexusmods fe. So i highly suggest going to the discord and ask for help there.

HONESTLY I CAN GARENTEE YOU that No man's sky people never had that intent for those that just cant understand. NO company expects you to not help those people that just simply can't understand and I WOULD LOVE for you to try to find a company of today that acualy does expext you not to help those that can't begin to process crap like that. In a way making the assumption that everyone can understand this crap is
      1. Stereotypical
      and
      2. A bit prejudice, or discriminatory if you prefer that, to those with mental disabilities that cant understand this crap.

And every company in the WORLD KNOWS THIS so I would like anyone to try  and tell me that any company would make terms of service in SUCH A WAY that it can be discriminatory because you don't know the persons mental capacity on the other end. I can guarantee you NO company would make terms of service in that way ON ANYTHING. Your not the first modder in this game that has said this and you wont be the last because this is BULL CRAP that I have to force myself to learn something my mind can't process even with a user manual showing me how.

And when you say join the discord they will help you, IT WON'T. I've been trying to understand modding crap for 20 YEARS and I'm 35 and 20 years latter IM STILL no closer to understanding this crap as when I started so joining the discord would only serve to aggravate me and the person trying to help which does NOBODY any good.

I'm months late to this party, but for crying out loud, DEMANDING that a mod author make something for you-- for free-- is the worst sort of obnoxious classlessness. How about "Thank you, sir, for your awesome mod. My I respectfully request a patch?"

Maybe I'm the one in the wrong here, but this kind of annoys me.

Even if requested like that I cannot do it, since the way NMS modding works, if i create patches with other mods im basically merging 2 mods ie using the other mod.

But most mods these days all have lua's so users can basically merge,... all the mods at their own whims allt hey need to do is read the How to AMUMMS guide and you should be set, if that is still unclear there is also a link to the modding discord for a more "face 2 face" help

Hi jackty89 I've looked all over your help page and done everything I could think of before posting here so I don't waste your time but having a problem where the geological canon is glitched out where I can't learn it so I did what you suggested I uninstalled all my mods I didn't uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I started by just adding your mod everything on your mod works except for the geological canon at this point I have nothing else installed and it perplexes me because it still won't let me learn the technology I've even tried downloading your files fresh new but the problem persists hopefully I'm not wasting your time here I looked everywhere I could think of to find an answer to this but have found nothing any help would be appreciated love your mod can't play without it

OK, I'm very much a super noob when it comes to No Man's Sky modding to the point that the only I know I can do right is placing the mods in the correct folder locations, so I'll be very blunt about this. Would it be possible to combine this mod with the Perfect Upgrade Modules mod listed here:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/2518

    ?
    If so, how?

Edit: I think this mod needs an update? It's stopped working with the current Steam NON-BETA patch (4.0.4) for some reason, even with no other mods installed, as I can't find ANY of the custom mods (or at least any one posted in the screenshots here) from any of the vendors on the anomaly.

Having +500% fire rate on Incinerator is a bit problematic as it eats through 1k ammo in split second, maybe you should reconsider increasing fire rate so much

Just downloaded the latest version(today is 11Oct 22) and I'm crashing to desktop with a mods warning message and I have no conflicts. Great mod, I just hope you get it working.

I'll check. If you're updating yourself with NMSMB use the latest pre-release
EDIT: recompiled and checked, the mod runs fine. I am running on experimental branch
Can you double check that you have no conflicts? As a lot has changed in 4.0 :) (you can post your mod list under this comment if you wish)

Sure and thank you so much for uploading this awesome mod and taking the time to reply and trying to help. (Endorsed and voted Mod of the Month, just for being helpful)
gTech Full 401a, gDebug God 403a, Remove_Tech_Overload_Ultimate_2_3,  InstantFleetExpeditions, Beyond Base Building, JJs.Better.Ships.V.2.9, Jasondude and Exosolar's Hybrid Expanse are the mods I'm running.
      * I just got that same solar ship, btw. Pretty cool.

Pretty sure you have to with at least merge with gTechFull, I'd suggest hopping over to modding discord. But will double check on their mod pages.
Edit: at a quick glance you'll need a lot of merges, see the How To NMSMB on how to merge, if it sounds to hard, visit the NMS modding discord.

When I go to look at the mods from Hyperion on the Anomaly, I get a crash to desktop. Had Vortex run a report and I have no conflicting mods. I got to see the new mods for sale for just a second before it crashed though.

Disabling your mod allows me to get into the starship upgrades without a problem.

Same thing for me, I had to remove several other mods to get this one to even show when at the Anomaly vendor, but the moment I open up to buy the mod upgrades, my game crashes, did it twice now.  Is this a conflict or something wrong with the mod?

downloading mods with vortex for nms is not advised as vortex doesn't check for conflict on NMS.

You can check for conflicts with either NMSMB or AMUMSS
