Is there a chance we can get a version where the colors match vanilla so we dont pick a green ship that its pink or blue for vanilla players? I feel it would be good for consistency when there are updates that brake mods and if you just want to get back to vanilla with out having completely different colors on your ships
I have tried to reconfigure the mod this way to create a separate version, but the colors just wouldn't be consistent. Since I've added several more neutral colors as well as pinks & purples, there's no way to make the non-neutrals line up correctly with the other new colors. The best I can do is make it a bit closer.
I understand, maybe you could keep vanilla colors with better color saturation? I feel the issue with vanilla colors is how stale can they look after awhile and how repetitive some palettes can end up being. Of course this is just me throwing ideas, i think you adding new ship colors is great and in general makes ships more interesting, im just the kind of player that likes to keep it as vanilla as possible. Thanks for your work.
Several thousand users of the mod at this point would disagree with you. Seeing as the game recently updated, make sure you've removed the "DISABLEMODS.txt" file in PCBANKS. You may also have a conflicting mod, such as DUD's Sky Colors, which changes the same file as this does.
Love your color mods, now if you can come up with a mod that will allow us to change the current colors of the ships we own. Not sure why that is not an option in the actual game since you can change the color of the freighters, not sure why you can't do the same with the other ships. ;)
These are great re-colors, but one issue is some ships have trim (not the fancy ships) like haulers with round tanks do not have the updated colors. if it was dark blue before (vanilla) for example, it would be teal but still have dark blue trim.
If the colors don't change, they're simply tied to a different color palette in the game files. I'm still looking for the source palette for some ship parts, namely metal/matte parts, that may be what's missing in your case.

My ship is neither completely black nor completely white
Also ALL colors, including player character, seem to be using the same palette. Might make note of that in the mod description.
