I'm having an issue with this mod. It looks like it's supposed to keep the menu open when you buy a slot but it closed the window after each purchase. Just for testing I removed all of my other mods and tried both at a space station and in the anomaly (since one other comment mentioned that was working as intended) however neither one stays open. I'm not sure what I may be doing wrong.
EDIT: After reading your comment to someone else I seem to have misunderstood how your mod is supposed to work.
Good day! I have a question - is it possible to make a less "cheat" version of the mod (in the sense of the ability to buy all inventory slots at once in one terminal, if you have the money for it)? I would like a version of the mod in which the number of purchased slots in one inventory upgrade terminal would be limited by the parameter X, which would be set in the Lua file, and the user would choose for himself what number to put in this file. That is, if X in the script is 3, then in one terminal you can buy 3 slots at a time, together with the anomaly 6 slots, if you do not use capsules or inventory expansion slots, etc. This version of the mod would be a great compromise between the temptation to buy up all the slots in the first terminal at once (if you have money, of course, but personally, if I don’t follow some challenge with strict rules, I fly away from the first planet with buried technologies and other resources for at least 2-5 million units, unfortunately it’s too easy to earn units in this game, even on complex settings) and a game option with one slot per terminal (when you need to fly through 90 systems (if you don’t visit capsules and don’t find/buy, etc. expansion cells) visiting both the station and the anomaly to open the entire inventory), 2-5 slots would be the ideal option. In any case, thank you very much for your version of the mod! It's just that for people like me, who find it hard to resist buying everything they can at once if they have the money for it (read: opening the entire inventory at once in the first terminal), an option with a limited, but large game, number of purchased slots would be ideal... P.S. Sorry for my English and possible mistakes! Text translated via on-line translator.
Not possible. Game only allows buying one at a go. With NMS modding we cannot add anything new. If the ability to do something doesn't exist in vanilla, can't be added by a mod. We change values for existing properties in static game files. In this case, there is no property (parameter) to allow for purchasing x slots at a time. If there was, after 8 years, would already be mods for it. :)
If you want to expand inventory all at once, may want to use a save editor.
Yes, as soon as possible. Still awaiting a fully NMS 5.0x compatible build of MBINCompiler, so I can update mods. The one released a couple of days ago has some major issues.
Thank you for this mod! Would it be possible to have a set limit on how many you can buy per station instead of it being unlimited? Say per example 3-5 per station and then you'd have to warp to a new system.
Thanks. Unfortunately not. The game code doesn't allow for setting a number. The property values being changed to allow this are boolean, strictly True and False.
Yeah, when I updated to 4.64, I decided to restart a new playthrough, and discovered the terminal only let me upgrade once, when I visited my first space station again, lol.
THANK YOU so much for the hella fast update!! \o/ ♥ :)
The new update doesn't seem to be working. I thought maybe I was experiencing a conflict, but the last time it worked, just before the recent last game update (4.64), my mods list hadn't changed. So then I double checked and removed all mods, and left just this one in, and the suit terminal inside the space station is only letting me unlock one slot.
EDIT (12 April 2024, 11:16PM): I jumped to a few more systems to check other space stations, and keep getting only one slot unlocked per station (green light on terminal also turns orange once I claim the slot). Still tested with no other mods installed but this one.
EDIT2 (13 April 2024, 2:49PM): Welp, I'm at a loss. I have no idea why/how this stopped working for me, after I updated my game to 4.64 (Steam). I did a verify of my game files and apparently everything is fine. Started another (vanilla) new game, with no mods installed, and DISABLEMODS.TXT present. Got to the space station and exited game. Changed to ENABLEMODS.TXT and installed just this mod. Went up to the suit terminal, and was only allowed to unlock one slot. I just don't get it, lol (but I see it's working for others *sigh, scratches head* lol). T_T
UPDATE: Welp, that's hella bizarro...inside The Anomaly...this mod works for me! I can unlock all suit slots with the suit terminal here, woohoo!! \o/ Weird though, that space stations are broken for me, weeeiirrrddd. xD
Looks like it was in a completely different file for the new stations. Just uploaded an update. Please give it a try and let me know. :) Also explains why didn't show up as needing a change in my spreadsheet, only going to pick up on existing file changes, not new files that didn't exist before.
I had a feeling something in the coding/files might have changed, given how much of a makeover the space stations have gotten, and I think I vaguely remember reading something about some work they (HG) did relating to the exosuit vendor area, in the last patch notes.
Everything works perfect again, woohoo!! \o/ THANK YOU again, for the fix/update!! ♥ :)

Been away from NMS for a while, heh. The new "Worlds Part I" update looks hella awesome! ( * .*)
