    hi i have a question, i am still playing v 4.64 as i am waiting for Better Planet Generations to be updated. I would like to try out this mod, so can i check if i am still able to use the lua version for v4.65 ? Thanks!

    If I wanted to, say, increase the slots to 200 for inventory and tech, could I via the lua?

      It sadly causes it to crash everytime I do so.

      Sorry, I wasn't thinking right when I said yes to 200.  Yes, the numbers can be increased, but 120 is the max inventory allowed by the game.  The UI and limits in the exe don't allow for more than that.  Been awhile since the limit was increased to 120 with the Waypoint update, so haven't really though of it in over a year.  Again, apologies if you spend much time on the above edits, due to my lapse in memory.

      Found this out there, think it's correct:


      • Exocraft inventory (120 cargo - 60 tech )
      • Suit tech (120 cargo - 60 tech )
      • Ship  (120 cargo - 60 tech ) on any class
      • Freighter (120 cargo - 60 tech ) on any class 
      • Weapon (60 tech )on any class
      • Living Ship (120 cargo - 60 tech )

      If it didn't, would have been updated.  :)

      First update of a release cycle, like 4.40, I update everything, as HelloGames tends to change so much in the files, nearly impossible to be granular.  For hotfixes after that (4.41, 4.42, 4.43, etc) I update as needed, based on which files HG makes changes to for that NMS patch.

      In this case, HG has not made changes to INVENTORYTABLE.MBIN since NMS 4.40, so no need to update the mod.

    Hello, look likes there is no cfg about exosuit slot in lua script, is this configurable?

      "More Upgradeable Slots adds more upgradeable inventory, technology, and cargo slots to exocrafts, multitools, ships, and freighters."

      Doesn't do exosuit currently, but I can look into adding it.  Until then, may want to take a look at slotmaster, which does exosuits

    fyi: don't use the outdated mod/lua with the waypoint update. It would actually reduce most of your inventory sizes

      Well, you'd never want to use an outdated mod anyway.  We're still working on an update for this one, due to the extreme changes to the inventory system

      of course you should be cautious with outdated lua files and shouldn't use outdated pak files. But since most lua files keep working after updates and this one doesn't throw any errors/warnings, I wanted to save others the trouble of testing it themselves

    Hello, I am using a stack size and mod limit removal mod and want to be able to get more slots on my multi tool.
    Would it be possible for you to make a version that increases the stack sizes to 1,000,000 + slot upgrade + mod limit removal?
    Since they all use the same files, they conflict. Thanks.

      Take the LUAs for this mod and the other one, then can combine them using AMUMSS.  That's what they're for.  :)

      ...or use the save game editor and change your slots there (handy, but needs to be done on every ship/multitool you own). Afterwards you don't need this mod anymore...

    Hey.  I am using another mod that increases slots to 48 for all ships.  What is happening is all the spawned ship prices now "coincide"(i cant think of the right word) with how many slots the ship has, consequently all the ships are extremely expensive.  Does this mod unlock the ability to increase to 48 or does it just increase across the board?  Thanks!

      The mod should only increase the possible upgradable limit of slots not spawn them with more slots for exosuit, ships, multitools and freighters.
