If you dislike how long and tedious it is to turn in food to Cronus, this mod will help out a bit.
Its even better in combination with Instant Text Display - ITD.
Manual Installation :
Drag the PAK file into your MODS folder.
MODS folder should be located in No Man's Sky/GAMEDATA/PCBANKS/MODS
Mod Edits :
METADATA/REALITY/TABLES/NMS_DIALOG_GCALIENPUZZLETABLE.MBIN
