Hello my friends, i recommend everyone to do it manually really, the last version of the mod i made doesn't seems to work well for me and i didn't have the time to look further why, while the manual solution still works for me :)...

Ps: When i get a little more time i'll try to make it work again (i need to redownload a bunch of stuff), but really the 'do it yourself' way is more practical for everyone i think... If you prefer to do it manually, here are the steps : 1. Navigate to <no man's sky installation directory>/GAMEDATA/PCBANKS. 2. Make a backup of the file : NMSARC.451C674F.pak. 3. Delete (! important) NMSARC.451C674F.pak from the PCBANKS directory. 4. Extract the backup of NMSARC.451C674F.pak elsewhere (using: PSArcTool) 5. You will now have a folder called MODELS, move this MODELS folder to <no man's sky installation directory>/GAMEDATA folder(! not PCBANKS). 6. Voilà ;). Launch the game and enjoy a seamless planet to space transition again. (*The game will read from those loose files instead of uncompressing each time the NMSARC.451C674F.pak - Thus removing the lag. It is important to delete the .pak file from the PCBANK folder else it'll be looking for it before using the loose files)

Hello there, i also wanted to go the manual way but the file "NMSARC.451C674F.pak" doesn't exist within my game files (Steam-Version) Did they actually fix the problem because i remember last playtime (a while ago) i loved to use this mod. Thank you I just opened my eyes and found the solution ... thx
You could try following these steps that someone posted a long time ago to update the Mod yourself like I did, seems to have worked.
Instead of tampering with the game's archives, you can get the same result by unpacking the offending parties, repack them without compression, then place it as a mod in the MODS folder.
How did you do it? In the last update they changed the name of the files in the pcbanks folder and now it is not the same as the explanation in the video to do it manually u.u
edit: I didn't say anything, it was clarified in the video description which file to choose now xD

NMSARC.451C674F.pak has been removed & recreated to NMSARC.MeshMisc.pak.
