   ?There any way we can get a version that modifies ONLY the destroyed freighter encounters? Dont really want every encounter to be a freighter even if half the encounters are useless. Also, cant seem to get it to work. Still get other encounters and no derelicts. think there may be an error in the file. Even recompiled it in amumss.

      Download the .lua then use a notepad or any file editor to modify all values to 0 or less than in the file

   First of all, thank you very much for sharing the Lua file. I tried to modify the event generated by it as a biological frigate, and generated a new Pak file to replace it. I found that I couldn't encounter any event that triggered it. The ID I use is ALIEN_SHIP, is it wrong?

      Try the BIO_FRIG ID. Just a guess, I'm not responsible for not working mods that I didn't make.

   Does this still work with Increased Space Encounters? I can't seem to make them work together. Haven't encountered any lootable Derelicts at all.

      Should work perfectly fine, they edit different files.

      I tried every setting on the space encounters mod and still haven't seen any dockable Derelicts. I only get the wrecked ones you can shoot the cargo pods for loot.

      NVM. Fairly new to NMS and didn't know encounters are system-specific. Got it to work! Thanks.

   Errrr, does that mean, the derelick freighter is actually one sort of the space encounter which can be found somewhere?

      Yes, it's very rare in vanilla (0.25%), but this mod makes it so that it is the only possible one.
