I don't know what a scrap dealer is, I'm fairly new to this game. But I found my first factory of some kind on a planet that had a reinforced door that I destroyed with my ship lasers. Inside was a machine that allowed me to select a number of things but one of them was to learn some recipes of craftable items. Many of the icons looked the same and my game would crash when I moused over them. I figured out it was my stack mod and after trying several, this particular mod was the only one that works when I'm on that screen.
Whether it works this this scrap dealer thingy I can't say but seems like this is the only stack mod that is compatible with the current patch level.
When trying to buy things with the scrap dealer either the game crashes or i get a partial menu with incorrect items and the missions to get recipies the starting page is not working and will result in a chrash as well ; hopfully there is a working solution being i do enjoy deeper bags for building in normal with this mod.
