    Peace, I am new to NMS and MODS. I have to say I am loving this game and the mods make it ...amazing literally.


    I have some feedback on this mod after using it for I think about a week. I am sharing my bugs or feedback as a sanity check...because maybe the issue is my laptop or install, or maybe these issues are known.

    •  When leaving the ship it auto removes my backpack, when I click to show, it does not always show, sometimes the avatar makes the "t" stand but nothing happens,  by the 3rd or 4th click I get the armor to show...once armor shows still no backpack unless I re-enter ship and pop out,,,then backpack shows. 
    • The shield,,,sometimes when I am clicking E to enter the ship the shield just comes on....then it takes a bunch of clicks to turn off, sometimes i hit the jump button first, then the single click to turn off works (more than not)
    • On one of my saves,,i notice the avatar is often pushed up in teh air like its running, and the only way to change it is to "sit" on something then standup.....but that fix is only temporary as the issue happens intermittently - is it possible there is a conflict with some gear in the game? I read in one post if someone has backpack thruster mods they should remove thruster boots (or something...paraphrase).

    Any guidance to resovel the issues on my side is much appreciated.Anyways, ,that's my brief feedback.

      1 and 2 work by action triggers that hide or unhide scene components.  Sometimes can be toggled by the game reloading the scene on it's own, then requiring a re-toggle.  

      3  I personally haven't seen this one, but might be gear related.  Suppose ought to check into what is different with this one save from all of the others.

      The thing with NMS modding is we can modify existing values and that's about it.  Highly limited to what we can and cannot do.  There's a saying in the community.  We don't mod what we want, we mod what HG lets us.  As such, really aren't any fixes which could be incorporated in the mod for 1 and 2, as the properties available for modders to set\change are extremely limited.  I will say, the behaviors of the mod can change over time, due to changes HG makes in updates.  There were a few where I had to remove the shield feature for about three NMS hotfix updates, because it was on all the time and could not be turned off, then the next hotfix that came out, worked perfectly again.  No changes to the mod for any of this, other than disabling and reenabling the feature.

    Did you update it after the last update of the two? 
    I got the first Update of 7 GB and later that day another small patch same day.  Wouldn't load the game without Disablemods restored.

      Weird.  I didn't see a small update.  Should be good with NMS 4.65.  On the "Play" selection screen, in the lower left, will show the game build.  NMS 4.65 is 121808.  This is the version latest Meta-Mod was build for.  I'm running it here, was just in-game last night.

      its says updated on the 8th but not working ingame. Nothing showing in the gestures section

      Not sure what's going on with what you downloaded, but saw that you got it fixed via Discord DM.  I'm assuming it was a mod conflict and had to be combined with another mod/script.

    When you step off the ship, it always appears a transparent shield, how to solve this?

      You may have invertedly toggled the shield on.  Go to Emote Menu, around the 11th button from the left will be Shield.  Click that.

      This really isn't just one mod.  It's an all in one of dozens.  Shouldn't negatively impact MP at all though.  All NMS mods are local.

      Another modder just turned the entire functions for playing in the Creative mode of No Man's Sky into their Mod.

      They gave you mention for helping them.

      I help a lot of people with modding, as do others.  Making mods, scripts for mods, and using mods.  Both here and on the big three NMS Discord Servers.  Generally considered a good thing.  Not certain what "Another modder just turned the entire functions for playing in the Creative mode of No Man's Sky into their Mod" means.  Was the person griefing?  If so, person got a name?  Very common for people to use the same name in-game as other places online.  If you wish to discuss further, more privately, can shoot me a NexusMods email or come get me on Discord, babscoole on their too.  Generally have the NMS Modding Discord as my "home base", https://discord.gg/22ZAU9H

      Think I know the mod you're referring to.  All Eyes on You.  It's existed for a few years.  The author approached me to write an Lua script for it recently, which I did.  Not sure why that would be an issue.  I write scripts for many other modders who can't, several per month.  Not my mods, I just script the changes the author has made, so the mods can be combined with others and for ease of updating.

      No issue with you.  I just don't see the point of mods anymore now that A_E_O_Y arose.  It's like it's got every function from the very first time NMS Creative mode was added to the game and some mods.

      Godlike?  No!  It's more like the person is desperate to make an impression.

      I just find what is useful and gives me the sense I have earned my way with stuff that makes the game feel like a mod makes it sensible.  Like building a better motor for a car.
      Instant Scanning, The dark natural look of real outer space.  A shield that I can turn on and off instead of having only short term timeed shields to protect me from radiation or heat.  Stuff that feels right a person could upgrade that in game, could, and took the time modify their own equipment kind of feel.  

      I posted a question to the person.  I see it has a response.  I hope I haven't offended that individual by asking if there is anything in the mod that is their own creative thinking.

      Every time I use the quick menu with this mod I get changed to 3rd person view.  Is that by design?

      Can happen with backpack toggle, when exiting, then re-entering the game.

      Just because you don't like playing or modding the game in a way doesn't mean it is wrong, lmao
      If you don't like a mod or gamemode just don't use it. NMS is not competitive or elitist, it's a casual game.

    Hi, first off I want to thank you for all your hard work on this and previous mods! You're amazing and I love your work.  I am having a bit of an issue though with the latest version and I figure it's because I must be doing something wrong.  So the options under gestures for summoning various ships and multi tools is there and works just fine. But the options to pick a different galaxy to warp to or the one to find a lush planet are missing. It is set to load last in my load order as well.  Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong? Thank you so much for your help!

      Thanks for the quick reply! It would be a handful of hours before I could mess with it anyway, I'm currently at work lol. I did not edit any actual files, I was just adding a z in front of the name of the mod to make sure it came last. I didn't realize I could alter the load order through a file. I will try that first when I get to it tonight. If that doesn't work I'll try shooting you a message on discord. Thanks!!

    Amazing mod! One piece of feedback. I am on Steam, and have noticed the mod seems to have disabled the sound of my jetpack since I made it disappear then reappear. Not a major issue, just thought I would let you know

      Known, very long term issue.  Meta Mod at No Man's Sky Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)  Isn't a way to fix in the mod.  A side effect of doing things in mods, that HG never expected to happen.  They'd need to change what's going on in a function in the .exe to fix, which HG will never do for a mod.  :)

    For NMS 4.43, HG made an EXE based change, which is causing occasional crashes with the Shield function of the mod.  Been hammering at this for two days and it's still acing goofy.  I'm going to push an update to temporarily disable shield in the mod, until I can get this figured out in the coming days.  The "code" in the mod is spot on, so I'm assuming whatever was changed in the EXE is bugged and will be reverted or changed by HG soon.

    Thx,:- )you may have been instrumental in getting attention to the flash to White Transitions so it was made less Brilliant.The message must have gotten through about the white light flashes.  I couldn't resist checking in at Steam.  I switched the Flash to White Transitions to Disabled and no more flashes occur now at all.

      An interesting thing happened when I was going to find another game to play.  I saw the NMS had a little, i mean tiny, update.  I couldn't resist downloading it.  Since it was a new one and so small, I had to look.

      I restored the Disablemods file and ran the game in the Online mode.

      As soon as the first window opened it was inside a space station, I jumped into the ship, and launched.  Outside the Space Station I sensed I had forgotten something just as I clicked to switch to the system star map.  I was almost fast enough to close my eyelids when the white flash appeared before the solar system map appeared.  But not fast enough.  The white light flash looked like a blank white sheet of paper instead of Flashbulb's brilliant glare from a camera.

      I ran another switch to check the transition flashes, the same.

      Then, as I was about to do, I tapped Esc, opened Options, Accessories,. and then Disabled the Flash to white transition.  Even though, in my case, there are no more blinding camera bulb or welders torch or rod searing white flashes.  Even with it Enabled.
