Thank you so much for the update! This mod alone is always a must for me.
I just wanted to ask if the whole folder goes in or just the EXML file? I'm probably coming across as a bit slow here, but I just want to make sure I'm installing it right as I've never used this type of file before.
I admit that I haven't even tried it yet during the expedition. I'm with you in that I expect it won't work on any of the rendezvous planets. The worms don't seem the same as they do in normal mode. Have to say, I'll be glad to see the back of them once I get back to the actual game - that's when I'll add your mod again.
Just wanted to hop in and say THANK YOU! You get a game thats perfect in every way, then some update comes and its no longer enjoyable. I walk on some planets for multiple hours to get from place to place in VR just because of the immersion factor and ambiance.
For me, the sandworms were jarring and entirely unwelcome. Some planets with sentinels etc i dont mind, but my base is on a planet with almost no sentinel activity and where i go to just chill and be. Much obliged!!!!
Hello there, i found your mod because i would like a way to get rid of them completely. Almost had a heart attack because of one who popped right under me and my nomad, launched me very high in the air (weird bugs and collisions adding to the stress of the event). Now i don't want to EVER encounter another one, even from afar. Would your mod disable their appearance completely, even on a world who has them originally ?
If so, it would be a lifesaver, i don't want to uninstall :(
Thank you, it is very much appreciated. After a lot of searches though, i read everywhere that sandworms are supposed to be only visuals (and sound) effects. I wish i were recording my play when that bad guy sent me flying. I'm keeping the outpost alive though, for future reference, and if someone wants to explore and try to trigger another collision with him. Nightmarish experience, especially because i didn't get any cues (nomad riding was probably overriding the shakes). Paradise planet, pink grass everywhere, definitely a show stopper meeting :(
just wanna ask if these worms are only visual effect and can not be captured? I know pet unlocker but that might only works for those self spawned worms?
These function just like normal worms, so I think it's possible to tame them with the pet unlocker, but very very difficult. I'm no expert on that mod, though.
okay thanks! And I have a problem. After installing the more sandworms version of this mod I haven't gotten any on any of the planets I've been to. Though with the max version I get a few. Is that how it's supposed to work or is it bugged?
