Hey, just a friendly heads up that Companions broke this mod. Not sure if you plan to update this (this mod has improved my life so much), but I understand if you aren't. Cheers!
I've got a problem, once I install the analysis visor, the ship icon suddenly becomes big arbitrarily, like it works normally for half an hour, and then it suddenly becomes big for like 5 minutes. I know this is your mod's problem since I tried removing your mod from the folder and it works normally. I tried uninstalling the game, the mod, playing with your mod alone, starting a fresh game, loading a save, and many other things, and it still doesn't work. Every time I start a fresh game, the problem is still there.

I tried finishing the tutorial, but the problem still stands https://imgur.com/a/lZNWkKK
As of right now, I'm only using your mod, S29 version, and started a fresh game, but this problem started with the S27 version.
Aside that, your mod is AMAZING, I don't think I can play the game without it anymore, many thanks!
PD: This mod worked w/o issue for me for like 2 weeks, so this is really weird.
Thank you for your kind words. It is indeed strange as others reported the same issue since a couple of days. I dont have that problem for example. It may be related to the fact that STEAM rolled out 3.13 update to PC too while it was only for consoles but honestly I´m not sure atm. I´m still on 3.10 GOG version. I will start a new game to see wherever I can reproduce the problem
It most definitely has something to do with Steam 3.13 version, I tested it as well and I'm getting the bug with your mod. Also Diablos10, thank you so much for providing this awesome mod, I'm a beginner/aspiring modder and was wondering, what's your process when a new update for the game comes out? How exactly do you update your mods? You unpack the game files and compare with every EXML in your mod to check for any differences or is there something else you do? Thanks in advance
This is a nightmare...updating it manually...rebuilding it completely from the unpacked gamefiles from updated game. Im sure the problem with the icon is down to STEAM updating when Hello Games did not officially release 3.13 for PC. On GOG its still 3.10 and the Mbin compiler last main release is still 3.10 too...which is quite telling
Well if this helps save you some time, I found that this specific compass icon bug is caused due to some changes in GCUIGLOBALS.GLOBAL.EXML, somewhere along line 560 or so. I don't know if there's anything else in your mod that broke with 3.13 though.
I already knew where the problem is but cant do anything about it as my gamefiles are 3.10 and that particular value was introduced for consoles it seems to me...oh well...Steam fucked it up...should have left PC on 3.10. We have to wait for next Hello games Update rolled out for PC
Just wondering if you had a chance to rebuild this mod? If not do you know what line is causing the issue, I wouldn't mind taking a crack at fixing it.
I have the same problem: https://a.radikal.ru/a18/2101/1b/d86e9f81eb26.jpg

Didn't play for about a month, maybe more, everything was fine. Yesterday I launched the game and I see this - when turning towards the ship, the icon that should be displayed at the top (on the disk to the cardinal points) becomes very large.
I'm on Steam version 3.13 and am also experiencing the large ship icon bug. I really want to play with this mod, but it's difficult when the icon takes up a large portion of the screen.
I'm also noticing another interesting bug around refiners. If I fill a Portable Refiner's fuel slot with carbon, when I pick the refiner back up again, it gives me about 600 Carbon back (6x as much as I put in). I am using several mods (I'm using NMS-MCDAMM to resolve conflicts and merge mods), so it's possible that this mod isn't responsible at all for it, but I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone else had experienced this.
Currently having an issue where running drains all your life support and running with jetpack drains it even faster. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Great mod. Currently using it in a coop play through with a few of our friends. Noting that we have merged a few different mods together, however this being the most likely culprit, we have found an exploit whereby filling a portable refiner with carbon (200) and then picking it up yields 600ish carbon for a profit of 400. Would be nice to see this replicated and fixed if possible.
This is an excellent mod to spice up NMS' gameplay, but could you make a version of the mod without the LOD/Terrain/Draw Distance enhancements? Not only it seems to cause problems with graphical mods, it also seems to eat up frames per second with the Next Gen update.
I've been looking to fix a lot of what I don't care for in NMS, turn it into more of a dedicated single-player experience. Being able to build where I want, more variety, stuff that is... Vanilla, but better. This looks amazing, quick question; I notice 'space base' in the description text. Is it possible to build space bases/stations in vanilla/Vanilla+, or do I need additional mods to do that?
Thanks so much for the amazing work, looks like it's gonna make what was already a great game much, much, better.
My inventory size is limited to 750, and my cargo is only 1500 which i dont really like. Is ther a way to keep all changes intact, while keeping the Inventory system same as normal game
Well, no...on the other side you wont have to worry about Products, Navdata and Salvage Tech and other non substances anymore as their storage capacitys have increased quite drastically anb you have more techslots too. Same goes for Freighter and Base. You can store a lot more stuff of everything there as in normal game. Please read the mod description: Inventory progression is a key element of this mod. If thats a dealbreaker for you...well...sry & nvmd.
You wellcome ! Fiddled around with the settings and ended up with the smaller cursor, lol. Seems legit for a better vanilla. Leaving all the changelogs on the main page will probably make it reach the character limit soon (which will break the page and has to be reset by admins) so will upload them under misc files.
Shame that this conflicts with so many other good mods. I keep crashing in the Nexus now because of it, doesn't immediately happen but seems to when a new ship comes in.
Could be the INVENTORYTABLE as the changes to ship slots, spawn & upgrade paths are significant but my guess its cause some other things span various files in order to work properly so the changes go pretty deep. The mod may not be multiplayer compatible.

Nonetheless, awesome job with this mod, man!

Couldn't find the exact changelog, but discovered a smaller cursor.
A miracle for me (too) :D
As I can see, you listen to the mod users' needs, because someone mentioned this request earlier.
Thank you for your work!
