This mod seems like an absolute lifesaver, which is unfortunate since it is not working ever since Frontiers update dropped. So I respectfully ask of you to update it to the latest version of the game. Thank you in advance!
Any chance this is being updated for Frontiers? This mod is essential for my building needs! LOL not good at glitch building. The mod does work, but for some reason it seems to break the function of connecting wall pieces together. Meaning that a floor panel, you can build on two of the four sides, but not all four. If I move the mod back and forth, I'm still able to get the desired angled effect, just with a little extra work.
I can confirm this is a problem. I can only place one wall, then, no others will snap in parallel to it. It also makes placing any normal wall parts, including windows, in many positions, impossible. Sometimes it won't allow placing a wall when there's another wall or roof part even one whole wall space away from it. I really miss Tesseraction. Can't be arsed spending 20 mins building scaffolding to get a couple of panels in at an angle. Please fix.
Can someone give me a tip about how to use this? I'm not sure if it isn't working or if I just don't know how to use it in the game.
I downloaded version 65, which seems to be the latest (but is several months old) and I put the .pak file in my mods folder. I took out all other mods to make sure there were no conflicts. I got the mods notice on startup and no errors that I noticed. Then went to try it out.
I tried various things, like placing a wooden wall. Everything seemed normal, as in the unmodded game. I couldn't find any angle snapping except the usual 90 degree rotations and the completely free rotation with left alt key.
Is there something else I need to do? Does the mod work on the current version (as of April 22, 2021)?
Thanks! This looks like it would be a tremendous help, if I could make it work! Eric
Answering my own questions (in case someone else has the same point of confusion).
Angle snapping doesn't happen by pressing R/T or any key. It happens by hovering the mouse around near where you want to attach the new piece and watching for the green snap points to appear. There are lots of them! And if you point the mouse in just the right spot, you can select the angle you want. So it is tricky, but not that tricky.
It seemed to me that it works best snapping floors to floors or walls to walls. I never could get an angle snapping a floor to a wall, for example (perhaps it can be done, but I couldn't). But you can accomplish the same effect. For example, to place an angled floor on top of a wall, you can place a regular 90 degree floor on the opposite side of the wall from where you want to attach. Then try placing the angled floor piece, and snap-points will appear relative to that other floor. Then delete the 90 degree floor. This worked for me.
Also, I can confirm that the mod worked for the latest version of NMS as of 4/23/21. Also, everything I built looked exactly the same when I went back in with mods disabled.
Very nice tool!
Eric
P.S. Perhaps I'm posting in the wrong place. There are two places in nexusmods where this mod can be downloaded, and I'm confused about which is the more current. Sorry if I'm adding to the confusion.

No idea why the base game doesn't allow basic angular placement.
A MUST HAVE for any builder!
(is also much more reliable and less time consuming than glitch building)
As of December 28, Mod still Works on latest NMS version.
don't work (and mess up menu/remove tabs)
