   Works great, thanks. Endorsed. When you get a chance you might add a line to the information file - you need to save the FreeCommander settings.

   Hi, very new to this, I've extracted all files in pcbanks to a folder on desktop, I've found save.dds, not sure what to do next or how to repack what I edit. I really want to edit when the game is saved, instead of every time you land your ship or activate a beacon, I'd like the save to be on a timer.

      Hi, .dds are texture files. It's only possible to edit textures, sounds, voices and some game parameters like speed, space density etc.
      A "save where you want" option is not yet available.

      Okay thanks. I'll investigate the possibility of adding new races with languages and ship parts for now then. As you can tell I have a long road ahead of me learning all of this, but so do a lot of modders. Thanks.
