This mod does only one simple thing: it makes the days longer Included are 4 different files that allow you to increase the duration of the day/night cycle according to your preferences:
inspired by a no longer supported mod: Longer Days for NMS NEXT by 2000gmod
In the FILES page you can download the Main File which includes all 4 versions (remember though that you can only use one at a time), or choose to download only the file you are interested in, which is useful if you use mod manager like Vortex
Why want a longer day/night cycle? For me the reason is because I find the default duration too unrealistic, but above all because I find that the default duration penalizes too much the phase of sunset and sunrise, the moments that I prefer most and that I find more suggestive for the atmosphere that creates on the planets. In this way, the day/night transition will be slower and realistically more gradual. But you will certainly have other valid reasons to prefer it :)
Note:
1. This is my first ever mod of NMS. So take the mod as it is, I can't promise fast and certain updates. I will try to keep it updated as best I can as long as NMS remains one of my favorite games.
2. Probably incompatible with anything that touches GCSKYGLOBALS.GLOBALS.MBIN
3. According to point 2, this mod modifies only a single value in a single file. If you encounter unexpected problems that have nothing to do with the duration of the day/night cycle, it is likely that it depends on another mod you have installed.
