    Updated for WORLDS PART II!
I've decided to make my mod visible again because with the Worlds Part II rework of the file structure and the way mods are handled will make mods like this one much more maintenance-friendly.

Looking to keep a dangerous game but have some dang stock on me and cant get gstack to work so hoping this has or might have in the future more stack size for building materials or at least maybe materials in say the Colossus or your large ships..

Metal plate like one slot stack of 100 thats all I want for xmas!

thanks for an answer in advance!

With the new modding system, you can change those values very easily yourself. Just open the EXML in any text editor (plain old Notepad works, or Notepad++) and find the appropriate line, then change it to your preferred value. In the case of Metal Plates, you need to change the desired lines under MaxProductStackSizes to 100. If you're unsure what difficulty setting you have for stack sizes, just change all three (High/Normal/Low).

Edit: Before you do that, download the new version. Changes have been made under the hood of NMS, so I had to update the mod.

I don't know if it's possible, but is it possible to make a version that inverts the technology part with the cargo part?

No, I don't think so, at least not for me. This mod simply changes a few values, what you're asking for is a huge UI change.

(You want inventory on top and tech below to scroll down to, right? Because you need inventory far more often than tech? I remember being a bit frustrated about that when Waypoint came out, but I got used to it.)

Oh well. This used to be a very low-maintenance mod because the file that governed stack sizes was barely ever modified. Now it'll probably break with most updates, so maaaaaybe I'll eventually have to learn how to use AMUMSS and include the lua files ... I wasn't even aware there was yet another update. :-/

I'll update once the tools have been updated.

Does this work with the new Waypoint update?

See the sticky, not at the moment but I'm about to finally start a new save and try Waypoint for the first time, so expect an update soon-ish.

      Edit: Updated.

Just wanted to say thanks for the mod! I want to get back into nms but I wouldn't even bother using survival without something like this.

Same. I don't want to play Normal mode (it's enough if I have to do it for Expeditions), but the standard inventory size of Survival/Perma doesn't add to the challenge, it just makes things more annoying.

the mod sounds great since survival stack sizes are dumb, any chances for this mod to update to the latest version of no mans sky? or has anyone confirmed that it works i dont want to risk my save :0

You won't lose anything even if the mod no longer works. Either it spits out an error message and crashes on startup, or you can just check in game if all your stuff is where it's supposed to be. If things are missing, quit without saving and delete the mod.

Hi Unedjis, I love this mod and would like to continue using it. Will you update it for the latest Endurance update? Thank you.

I'll update this week, sorry about the delay. (Although I'm surprised an update even breaks this mod, the file is rarely changed by HG.)

Edit: No update necessary, the files have not been changed in the update.

I'm probably missing the obvious, but how do we choose a specific stacksize? I installed the latest mod version and on survival it only rose up to 1000 while I want it at 10000.

You don't choose a specific size, there is no customization. Each file just contains a version for Normal and Survival/Permadeath. I never made a Survival/Permadeath version with 10k stack size, but it would be easy enough to do. Once the tools have been updated for the 3.90+ updates, I might look into making a version that makes Normal and Survival stack sizes the same.

I am really loving this mod, it seems to still do the trick with Sentinel too. However I was wondering if there was a possibility of you doing a version with 48 exosuit slots?

    o7 :D

Unlocked already?? Afaik that would require editing different files, which I'd be hesitant to do. Plus I believe there are plenty of other mods that give you just that.

Slot stacksize increase works fine with the current build (Frontiers 3.68)
I still had to use the savegame editor to enable the disabled slots. Am I missing something?

By the way, I agree with you. I hate it when developers try to increase "difficulty" by making the game annoying.
And having to run back and forth with a tiny inventory size is one of my pet peeves.

This mod does not give you free slots, it just increases the amount of stuff you can put into your slots. The screenshots I uploaded are just from a 200-300h save, so I already had all the slots unlocked everywhere.

Or do you mean the tech slots? In that case, you need to make sure you're using the right version (the Tech version), and ONLY that version. It's working for me in any case.
