How about using photo mode ? In it you can adjust day/night/sun position... As you exit photo mode - given sun position is applied (well the planet still keeps rotating). Not sure if that is a bug, but worked for me - have not exploited it to say if that helps in any way...
It works for me. Some other player reported my mods were not working but it was because the xbox game pass version was not updated yet to Worlds Part I.
A must have mod for me unfortunately. As much as I adore day/night cycles, the duration in this game is just ludicrous. Usually when I land on a planet when it's daylight it's a matter of minutes before it's night again and vice versa.
Thanks a lot for creating this mod! This mod has been excellent for capturing screenshots of the game in different lighting. It's also great for immersion purposes as well because nothing in this game moves from its stationary positions so it made little sense as to why there was a day/night cycle on planets lol. Thanks again!

^ Does not work, if i install all mods.
I built a few, on the sunny side, and they just stand there closed.
I really need to learn to make mods.
