Hello, this mod gives a better visual aspect than the default game, thanks a lot. But i have a problem with Nodusk&Weather :
BlueSky and NoFilters work well together, but when i add NoDusk then the game crash at launch with the message "incompatibility with mods..." (i don't use other mods in my game with "FRONTIERS" v.3.67 update).
Do you have the same bug or the 3 mods work well together for you ?
Edit : when i only use NoDusk, the game crash at launch. So Something in this mod does not work with the last game update ? Thanks !
I download Clean Filters to improve performance and was little disappointed and want to delete after i figure out it give enviromental protection (yup i skip most of description xD, i am new to modding) i wasnt looking to making game easier. But i am 400h into NMS and now i see how GREAT GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENT it is. When storms come occur every 60 sec on some planets i want to die,
Now i can explore, i can see whats "there" without running around, dont afraid game crash during storm and got fps boost and stability. and also now i got some free tech slot to use ;) Thank you VERY VERY much for this. It is one of essentials for me now to have enjoyable gameplay. enjoyableenjoyableenjoyable
Worked for me for a while, but then it started creating black rectangles all over my screen. Tested out the mods i have to see which one was causing it, came down to Clean Filters which makes me reallyyy sad. It makes the game look so much nicer... I hope there will be an update to fix this.
I had a planet that became totally black only when passing the atmosphere and trying to land which was of course impossible. I hope this gets an update :(
Hey, thanks for updating it! Can I request another update though? Its missing edits to Weird2, 3, 4, 5, and 8.
I was using the program NMS-MCDaMM to merge some mods together, and was looking at how the filter mod worked. I thought the mod wasn't working, because I'm on a worm-ridden planet. Everything is greyscale, with pinkish rainbow edges. It looks awesome, but this filter, and only this filter, adds 10 degrees to my GPU, and after a few minutes, crashes the game in multiplayer.
Pretty sure the mod is working right. I have one that removes the blue tint from scanning, so scanning shows me the original planet colors, and on the other planet I've tested, there's no change--so the planet is using the default filter... though it is a very ordinary world. I should find a radioactive one to triple-check...
Anyway, I am not sure how to unpack and repack mods myself. I tried to edit this file before making the final merged mod, but it didn't take. If you could update it to get those last weird filters fixed, that would be great! :D
Update: Now I'm not sure the mod works, because I'm opening up Weird6.dds in Photoshop and it has the actual filter colors I see on this planet. I'll do more testing. I think I figured out how to make my own mods now, too. So you can ignore this I guess!
Update 2: Haha. I literally copy-pasted and renamed the default texture to all 80 other possibe filters... Success! I don't know which filter it was on this planet, but I stamped it out. And its the planet's fauna that adds 10 degrees to my GPU, not the filter (I had lighting issues in other games--literally looking through a glass window in Outer Worlds would make the fans go insane to keep the heat down.)
Might as well share the fruits of my labour... With a screenshot, because I don't think the mod I made is worth it. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/792540508869885962/794453170888769536/unknown.png
