I don't know how to describe it. When connected to any machine, there will be an extra section of the pipe. This error also occurs when only this mod is installed
Ok, I compared the three game files the mod uses between NMS 5.20, 5.21, and 5.22. There were zero changes in the three game files. I also did a double check, via exe reports if there were any new, removed, or renamed game file properties, which could be applicable. Nope.
This leaves us with HG may have changed an applicable function within the exe, which is problematic from a modding perspective, because we can neither see exe functions nor make any changes in mods to account for them being changed. We may have to wait for HG to fix this one on their end. That being said, as a hail mary, low hanging fruit, possible solution, I rerolled the mod .paks for 5.22 and uploaded. This actually took me the better part of an hour, because NexusMods is having severe connection issues today. Hard to stay connected more than a few seconds, before the site goes down again. Else, not much I can do, but wait and see what happens next few NMS hotfix patches.
One of my mods, Personal Shield Generator, has similar issues, on a recurring basis. First time it happened, was for an experimental NMS build that was released on a Friday. Shield would not turn off. Nothing had changed in the files, but I spent 30+ over three days, the entire weekend, trying every reconfiguration possible of the mod, to no avail, couldn't fix the problem. On Monday, HG released a small experimental build, no game files changed, only exe changes. Fixed the problem. Since then has happened a few more times for that mod. I learned to just confirm there were no changes in the game files the mod uses. If that's the case, I now know to just wait and not waste time tilting at windmills for an issue I cannot fix. :)
Ran into a problem, deleting for now When visiting an old base of mine, on a stairs of a Terminal, surrounded by mountains and hills, with pipes going through said hills.... I was being pushed away, like a wall was expanding from somewhere near my base. After few attempts of trying to walk into it , suddenly I appeared few hundred meters above ground, standing on invisible ground. used "Exosolar's Industrial FPS Booster" , checked with AMUMSS - no conflicts. deleting this only .PAK resolved the problem removed all mods, went into my base, saved, added only this mod - and my character was tossed into the air on load at once.
As you mention pipes going through the terrain, possibly some sort of weird collision interaction, but I get the feeling it's not something that could be replicated. Sorry the mod didn't work out for you. Enjoy the game. :)
This happened to me also, the pipes were broken as hell, when trying to place them they grow out in both directions forwards and backwards (at least that's all you see visually, they may be expanding on other planes as well but just the collision while invisible?).
Which version are you using? I never could replicate this on my end, but could be something incredibly situationally specific. Once I find out what version you're using, I can take another look. Also, were pipes buried in terrain, like the previous report?
Edit: Made a change to the mod, based solely on other model work, where I've seen an oversized collision box, but will wait to hear back before I take it any further.
Which version? Also, so the black tubes aren't there, e.g. BOTH versions remove all of the extra geometry from pipes leaving only the twin black tubes, and none of the overly-detailed clamps.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. As far as version, I meant the regular or extreme version.
There was probably some change in the base file for Endurance. You just happen to be the person who noticed/reported. I'll take a look in the coming days to try to figure it out. :) Just hope I can do so quickly. Running out of time before the NMS Anniversary update will hit.
The pipe is visible now and the mod is working, but when i tried to place the pipe a extended bugged part appear in the "placement mode" and when i build it too, as you can see on the img:
Once you plug both ends into silos, it shouldn't be extended, will just go from socket to socket and look ok. This is what I saw last night, while testing, before I uploaded. That it's long during placement is a side effect of the the black bars, which are replacing the pipes, predate the addition of placement files in the game, so in essence the mod is using the black bar model, but the pipe placement files, so the size during placement is off. There's no good way to fix this (other than manual trial and error) as the NMS modeling tool has no support for these placement files, as they are relatively new to the game.

No matter how long is the pipe, he keeps invisible.
I tested with the v3.99 the mod also work, but with the same problem, dunno what could be

Anyway, can anyone tell me how to put the industrial miners on buildings like in the pictures?
