Parallel Universe changes some aspects of NMS while keeping it true to its roots. Visual enhancements such as more particles, better fog, higher saturation and reworked weather effects create a more immersive experience, while a wide range of terrain generation settings make exploration fresh again!
It's still No Man's Sky, but remixed.

How to install:
- Navigate to No Man's Sky/GAMEDATA/PCBANKS
- Delete DisableMods.txt
- Create a folder called MODS
- Extract the .pak files to MODS

WARNING: This changes terrain generation, your bases will be buried or floating and overall in a bad place when you install this. It is recommended that you save in a space station before installing this mod.


ONLINE: Terrain causes sync problems when playing online, unless all players in the party uses the same generation files. It works, but it's not the optmal experience.

BIOME MODS: No biome files are affected by any of the modules, so it's full compatible with most biome mods available. It's also compatible with most color mods. Remove __PU_MultiBiome.pak for maximum compatibility.

Version 1.4:
- Fixed instability issue on some weird planets!!!!!! (this one was hard to catch)
- Added better lights to vehicles
- Added barren frozen biome
- Added agressive striders
- Added immersive animal HUD (I'll move this to a separate module in the future)
- Updated some footsteps particle effects
- Updated asteroid explosion effects
- Updated Strange Terrain for more variety (your bases might be buried once again, sorry)
Version 1.2:
- Updated terrain generation based on user feedback (your planets will be different, sorry :( )
- Aadded rare flying fish
- Added Multi Biome module: Planets can have two sets of biome objects on different regions (still testing, some bugs may occur)
- Added a few biome surprises
- Changed Starship 3rd person camera (Closer and a little higher)
- Added "Dig with your hands in VR" module.

Version 1.1:
- New creature added: Bats

- Added directional torch option
- Adjusted Dead planets weather effects
- Added falling sand to cave effects


Features:
- Reworked particles, based on my work from Particle Overhaul
- Reworked Weather effects, including new rain texture and less intrusive smoke/dust on planets
- More coloured fog, better integration with sky and clouds
- Cleaner water, more vibrant colors and no reflection.
- Bigger clouds can now create cloudy days! The same planet can have completely sunny areas and cloudy ones
- Saturation and contrast are increased, no more whiteish vistas
- Reworked volumetric fog / god rays, more prominent during morning and sunset
- Shadows have increased angle, creating nice sunset effects 
- Creatures behave more naturally, no longer runing around in circles
- Movement adjustments to make exploration more immersive. Walking is slightly slower, running is faster. Jetpack initial boost is higher
- World generation can now create more diverse worlds. All smoothing is removed. Planets can have greater plains and higher mountains. The lows and the highs now create interesting terrain. Caves have more branches and can create underwater rivers. Planet regions vary, so it's worth exploring to find the perfect place for a base.
- Selection highlight in VR is removed
- 3rd person camera reworked from shooter to adventure game
- Darker nights, flashlight range is increased to compensate
- Lush biomes have less rocky textures
- Ground resources can be very weird shapes


Coming soon:
- More varied creatures, like bats in caves, flying fish and more!
