This mod will be broken until MBINCompiler is updated to let us decompile files from the latest update. Once that happens, I will update the mod here. Hope everyone is enjoying Outlaws!

Game hangs with Exobiology Expedition...at least in my case.
Wondering if anyone else gets a hang at the normal/hardcore/expedition select screen, and if this needs updating.

I just cannot get this to work with Expeditions, I tried the prior version V3 still crashing the game at start up.  Any chance you have a version that works with Expeditions?

I love this mod and have been using it ever since you created it!  Thanks for the hard work.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've used this mod in my own personal game for each update to the game including Expeditions.

Do you happen to use any other mods as well? Or is this the only mod you have in your game? It's possible there could be a conflict between mods, or a mod you had that became outdated and is crashing your game?

The lua script file shouldn't need to be updated unless NMS changes the names of the main files. All it does is point AMUMSS to edit two values in a certain file.

If there's something I'm not understanding, please explain.

@Logan I'd recommend keeping the game up to date, and after each major update always check to see if

      A) The other mods you use (if any) are also updated

      B) The update added another disablemods.txt file

Thanks! Do you have a version that works with Expeditions prior to Prisms?

@Logan you can try out the V3 version of the mod that was released at the end of 2020, but I can't guarantee it'll work.

use the scripted version of this mod, here: https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/1707?tab=description
Fleet Time Reduce mod, inside the mod there's a .lua script. you'll need that lua script.

      basically you:

      • install the mod provided from the link above
      • grab AMUMSS: https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/957
      • extract AMUMSS to a separated directory anywhere. let's say I extract to /AMUMSS-3.6.0W/
      • put the lua script i mentioned above into /AMUMSS-3.6.0W/ModScript folder
      • run BUILDMOD.bat
      • this makes AMUMSS to build a newer version of the mod, in the form of .pak. In this case, a FleetTimeReduce.pak will be built.
      • you can let AMUMSS to copy this new FleetTimeReduce.pak into your game's mod directory. It'll ask you during the build.

your FleetTimeReduce mod is now updated.

Followed your instructions and a bit of my nose, created a Mod Patch file, and it loaded in the recent update, but did not change the Fleet Time. Is it possible that HelloGames renamed the variable?  Any help would be great.

Does this still work with the latest update/will you update it to be compatible?

EDIT: I just realised what I really wanted is a mod that increases the number of expeditions. I read the other comments and I see that's something other people were wondering about and that you had been trying to figure out. I wonder if it would be informative to check if everyone gets the same expeditions each day? If they're the same for everybody, to me that would suggest that Hello Games is actually setting specific ones for the day and there might not simply be a value you can change to give you more. If that's the case, I imagine you'd have to reword the entire system.

Hey I'm not quite sure what you mean. I just went and double checked using my psarctool to decompile FleetUpdateV3.pak into GCFLEETGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN and it's still the same file as it was before. Should be as normal as it gets for making a mod .pak file.
